[Shouto, no. Don't ask questions like that when Izuku can't answer them properly!!

Izuku's back to the nuzzling now, but pulls away to smile at him again.]

Why wouldn't I like you? Oh, do you want proof? I can show you how much I like you, if you want!

[His left side is heating up, bit by little bit. But he'll nuzzle back before Izuku pulls away.

It's Izuku's smile so Shouto's immediately taken with it.]

You can just tell me.

It's better if I show you!

[And with no warning whatsoever, starts leaning in even more, like he's going in for a kiss...]

[glaciers]

[Shouto goes entirely still, looking like a deer in the headlights.

Except... his left side is starting to steam.]

[And, of course, that's when the potion decides to run out. Izuku comes back to his senses, jolting his head to the side and accidentally kissing Shouto on the cheek instead.

He scrambles back with a squeak, wide-eyed.]

[glaciers]

[Shouto lets him go, but he's still blushing. It's not a lip to lip kiss, but at the same time, Izuku just kissed his cheek.

Should he be alarmed about how much he liked that?]

I-Izuku?

[inheritance]

[He's not the only one blushing, though Izuku's stems from his mortification more than anything. He covers his face with his hands, though that does nothing to hide how red his ears are turning.]

Sh-Shouto... I'm....I'm so sorry about all of that! [Please don't hate him!!]

[glaciers]

It's um... it's fine. Really. I mean it.

[But his face is so red.]

I don't hate you or anything like that.

[inheritance]

[Izuku peeks at him through his fingers.] Really?

[It's a relief, but Izuku can't help but feel guilty about just... pouncing on his friend so suddenly like that.]

[glaciers]

Really.

[It's still embarrassing, but he needs to calm Izuku down somehow.]

... Have I ever lied to you?

[inheritance]

Well...no. [Slowly, Izuku lowers his hands.]

No. [He says more steadily, after a moment.] You haven't.

[glaciers]

I'm not going to start now. As long as it's you, I'll always be honest.

[inheritance]

I believe you. [It's something he's always appreciated about Shouto, even before they grew closer.

Even so, there's a lot for him to process right now, between the week he's spent without his curiosity and what he did under the potion's influence. Too many thoughts are tangling together into a confusing mess in his head right now and he knows he needs to sort them out first.]

I...I'm going to go check the forum! F-for anything new. [And with that very subtle grab at an excuse, Izuku flees from the room.]
