WHEN: The month of June
WHAT: Punishment shenanigans, quests, and a catch-all for additional threads?? Closed threads will be added to the post, open prompts will be beneath the cut.

starswept!
[ That first week of June. ]
[ If you are a teenager or younger, regardless of whether or not this young woman has met you, she's looking incredibly upset the minute she gets a good look at you. This is a prelude to her hurrying over, gaze anxious, as she looks you over and-- ]
This is... definitely going to be a weird question, but are you actually hurt?
[ SHE MIGHT LOOK LIKE SHE'S ABOUT TO CRY. ]
[ Alternatively, she can be spotted making a much slower way around the town. Slower because she's apparently decided to use her necktie as a blindfold, and even Maya isn't about to go sprinting about an area where she can't see.
It won't stop her from bumping into someone, or-- ]
Whoops! Sorry!!
[ A tree. Or the well. Or literally anything else, but she doesn't seem keen to take that blindfold off? Wonder why???? ]

But that's not something you could feasibly blame yourself for.

[ unfortunately. ]

I can't argue that. I think I have too many stories I've been angry with myself when it wasn't exactly rational.
[ He should practice what he preaches at some point. ]
You don't still think that way now, right...?

Unfortunately, it's still a thought that's stuck with me. I'm sure it'll fade in time, but...

[ Yeah, she can tell it's different. ]

It's not like it's something he could exactly give advice for, either. Mostly on the stance that Caramia doesn't have the whole story, and he isn't about to ask her to further elaborate after already expressing that Maya didn't need to bring up the painful memory any more than she had to.
But what he can do is this! It's not much, but he's been told before that he gives good hugs, and hopefully they weren't lying to him? He only lets go just before the hug gets to the point of "this is probably weird now". ]
You're certainly stronger than most for being able to tell a story like that, signorina.

[ but he definitely gives good hugs, and she appreciates it, smiling crookedly as he draws back. ]
What happened to me wasn't as painful as what happened to that boy. So the very least I can do is explain the story properly.

[ Which might've just been one way to justify the fact that he can only be here for her, and not the boy that she spoke of. ]

[ It's always a little tiring to talk about, but it does make her shoulders feel a little lighter. ]
