[ If you are a teenager or younger, regardless of whether or not this young woman has met you, she's looking incredibly upset the minute she gets a good look at you. This is a prelude to her hurrying over, gaze anxious, as she looks you over and-- ]

This is... definitely going to be a weird question, but are you actually hurt?

[ Alternatively, she can be spotted making a much slower way around the town. Slower because she's apparently decided to use her necktie as a blindfold, and even Maya isn't about to go sprinting about an area where she can't see.

Although... maybe 'talked' isn't the proper term to use. It was more one-sided than anything, wasn't it...? He's never been particularly good with the whole 'sudden and heart-wrenching reveal' thing. He learned from the first time that his best bet is to get himself away to think, lest he damage things ever further.

So... maybe they hadn't talked properly, but it's not as if he hadn't brought up the fact to Caramia. And, based on his own experience...

"I'm quite sure this isn't something that just talking can solve."

Probably not... regardless of what you could say to him, there's a chance he'll either think you're crazy, or believe you but feel incredibly guilty over it.

This marks the second time someone has told him something he's gone through wasn't fair?? These damn Personas and their understanding nature.

But Kyrie only shakes his head with another humorless laugh. He'd take the guilt... and how selfish does that make him, really, to wish that on anyone?

"More often it's the former, I've found." With no explanation given as to how he's found this, either. "...I appreciate your concern, but I'm sure I'll be just fine. I'm perfectly capable on my own, after all--if anything, he's the one who ought to feel at a loss."

But more importantly--

"I don't particularly care to have friends." Edgy. He doesn't make any move to begin walking, instead just eyeing her curiously. "Do you mean to say you have nothing better to do than pester me?"

That is to say, it'll still be pestering even if he calls it something else. Not that he minds the pestering really! It's just a matter of principle.

Plus, he's... sort of used to being alone during this sort of thing? How's he supposed to mope and overthink when he's got someone with him?? Geez...

"You're a strange girl... But, I guess I should be flattered." Not that he really sounds flattered, but hey, he should be.
