He's already tried escaping. Via the air, of course, but neither up nor over had gotten him anywhere. Literally. Since then, he's been trying to take in this place, understand something about the people here and the situation as it stands. The whole thing stinks of magic, which of course is not really his favorite thing in the world, but it's a strange and different magic from anything he's familiar with.

He'll be looking for someone heading into the woods as he's going to try and explore there, see what other flora and fauna are to be found. He'll be wandering around town, including the various districts, to get a feel for each area and how much work has been done there.

He has plenty of concerns, but he can't help that he's also terribly curious about some of the things people have talked about. The boy who'd mentioned 'hero schools'... The girl who'd admitted that she too was an alien. Perhaps it's the El in him that even though he misses his home, worries for the Earth without him there, a part of him is fascinated and curious about this new landscape.

He's been trying to keep busy, trying to still help people. He's been messaging people about where he can contribute and he's been working on some of those that he'd said he might, like the cheese and the soap and the toothpaste. These things require chemicals, though. Chemicals he'll have to try and find in the rocks and plants and animals in this place.

So really, there's no telling where you'll find him. But feel free to say hello to the massive (but oddly not intimidating) new guy in the glasses.

[ Clark hears them and he certainly tenses a little, hoping he can pull this off without damaging his normal clothes. The Supersuit is always an option but it's not one he wants to be stuck in 24/7. ]

I don't suppose you're particularly fire proof as well?

Nooope. I'll burn just as well as the average joe. And I'm pretty sure my quasi-immortality dance card is all used up. It ain't the type of thing I really wanna check, you know?

[ And now he's looking for geese, settled into a wary stance as he keeps his eyes peeled for the geese. Or fire. ]

[ CONVENIENT. dave falls a step behind and looks around -

then points. ]

Saw blue at five o clock.

[ He isn't going to answer that, but what he is going to do is move fast, keeping low to the ground as he goes to grab for one of the geese from the side.]

[ that's fair. dave...flashsteps over to help out, taking the opposite side. i think superman can like keep up with the flash or whatever and dave's just looks-like-teleporting-fast, so he should be easy for clark to track but way harder for the geese.

when he taps any of them, they disappear into the thin air that is his hammerspace. ]

[ They get something of a system where Clark is very good at wrangling, and then Dave does his hammerspace tap. The gaggle of geese are gone, poof, and neither of them are so much as singed. By the end, Clark looks over at Dave with a pleasant smile. ]

Think we've got enough of them?

I count a dozen, so it's back to town - you gonna want any of these guys to keep? Or girls. They might be girls. I don't know how to tell goose gender still.

[ LIKE...???? he doesn't know much about bird reproduction okay ]

I would, except I'm not sure if they wouldn't be a health hazard.

[ That's said with just a little sarcasm. Only a little.]

And since it looks like there's already some chickens producing eggs, it's probably for the best not to keep them in town.

Haha... [ dave is. maybe already keeping geese... ] Well, I think maybe some are okay. But anyway, if I release 'em in town they keep finding their way back out here, so it should be good. Thanks for helpin' out, dude.
