[So literal. She turns away for a split second, unable to stop herself from snorting—but hey, she's back! Everything is a-okay.]

W-Was Deku-kun with you? If we find them, we should bring him some!

[Why does he always make her laugh...]

I think he'd like flowers. Especially ones that have color to them.

[Hopefully he never, ever asks her. But hmm, Deku and flowers... he would like them, it's true.]

I think so, too. We should see if he wants to come with us! We're going to Flavo anyway, and it would be a lot of fun to pick flowers together. And maybe— [Yeah, she can't help but to giggle.] Maybe we can even make flower crowns!

[glaciers]

I think he'd come.

[He tilts his head a little bit and looks puzzled. That's something he's heard in passing, but it's not like he's ever made them himself.]

... How do you do make them?

Really?

[It's out of her mouth before she can stop it, because honestly, she never expected Shouto to actually be interested. There's a chance that it's nothing more than polite curiosity, but... hmm. HMM.]

I-It's not hard! You have to find the right kinds of flowers, though. The stems have to be long enough to braid together, and then you keep braiding new ones with the old ones, and— [She's been pretending to braid flowers together this entire time, but she pauses as she realizes that this is, um, a bit harder than she'd thought. She'll just give him a smile instead.] I can show you? If you want me to, I mean.

[Her expression definitely looks a bit hopeful here, and she isn't even going to try to hide it. This sounds like... a cute sibling thing...]

[Flower crowns aren't usually things he thinks about. But after dealing with kids and being here a while- it doesn't seem like such a bad thing to pick up, really.

Besides, it'd give him more time to... bond... with Uraraka. Siblings do that, don't they?]

I'd like that. Hopefully those flowers are long enough.

[Ah! Ochako can't help but to beam.]

I hope so, too! But if they're not, we can always mix in other flowers with them. The colorful ones will really stand out. [And she's going to pick the pace right up, thank you. This is suddenly very exciting!] Come on! Let's hurry up and find Deku-kun!

[glaciers]

I think he might be in the gardens? He didn't say where he'd be for the rest of the day.

[The biggest perk of living in a small town is that everything is relatively close; it only takes them a few short minutes to reach the garden, and there, tucked away near the back edge, is a familiar, shaggy head. Convenient.

The two of them are already walking quickly, but sorry, Shouto! Ochako instantly breaks into a jog, heading right toward their friend as she yells out a greeting. It's the middle of the day, so she isn't disturbing anyone... and she's just pumped, okay? Flower crowns...]

Deku-kun! Are you busy?

[What is he doing over there, anyway?]

[Izuku, who's crouched down and peering at something in the garden, turns when he hears his name being called.]

Uraraka-san! Todoroki-ku--um, Todoroki. [He flashes them a bright smile, hopping to feet.] I'm not busy right now. What's going on?

[glaciers]

[Shouto looks very pleased at his name without an honorific. The same kind of way a cat looks after it's gotten what it wanted.]

We're looking for flowers with color.

[thriftea]

[...Oh. Oh. Her eyes flick back and forth between them for a moment, because that lack of an honorific is new, right? They've always been close, but maybe living together has made them even closer friends. Well! That's a nice thought, honestly, and soon her smile is widening. She will definitely ask Deku about this at a later point in time.]

We want to find some for Iida-kun! And I'm going to show Todoroki-kun how to make a flower crown, so you should come with us!

[inheritance]

We're making flower crowns for Iida-kun? [From the way he's grinning, there's no doubt what his answer will be.]

Ah, actually I just saw those! [He turns and points at the part of the garden he was looking at before. There are clusters of bright yellow flowers all around.] Can you make flower crowns from dandelions?

[glaciers]

[He gives Midoriya a small nod.]

Uraraka is going to teach me how to make them.

If the stems are long enough, probably. [He'll look over to Uraraka for reassurance. That's what she said earlier, isn't it?]

[Dandelions? She glances at the flowers Deku is pointing out, her lips twitching ever so slightly once she hears Todoroki bring up part of her mini lesson. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that he'd been listening to her, but what a... d-diligent student...]

Todoroki-kun is right! [And he gets a smile for it, too. Good job!!] We can pick the tallest ones, but we'll need a lot of them. Make sure that the stems are this long, okay?

[She sticks her pointer fingers out in front of her, holding them about three inches apart.]

Deku-kun, have you ever made a flower crown before?

I never got this notif??

This long, got it. [He'll even mimic her, holding his fingers out in an approximation with a serious expression on his face. Learning how to make flower crowns is very serious!]

I haven't really... I thought about making some for myself and Kacchan when we were younger, but... [He smiles wryly. They can probably fill in the rest. Even if he had given them to his childhood friend, "Kacchan" probably would've blasted them to bits.]

[glaciers]

[The reason Midoriya hasn't... well. Bakugou would rather spend time with anybody other than Midoriya. Those flower crowns wouldn't have survived, would they?]

Mm. We can make some for each other too. You and Uraraka look like you should be wearing flower crowns.

[Aw, Deku. Ochako certainly can fill in the rest, and it's a sad, sad thing to think about... but Shouto steps up to the plate just in time, and boy, what a hit. She instantly looks back over at him, eyes widening a bit, because that was cute! That was just too cute!!]

Y-You think so? But what about you, Todoroki-kun? [Let her just imagine him with a dandelion tiara, and... you know, that's surprisingly not hilarious? It's actually a very sweet thought, which is why her smile only widens.] I think that you'll look nice in a flower crown, too!

[Well, now she has extra motivation to get this show on the road? So come on, boys! She's heading right over to the flowers now, just as happy as she can be. This is turning out to be such a good day, aside from the fact that Iida is still... a statue...]

Let's pick as many as we can!

[inheritance]

Me? [Izuku laughs, smile both grateful and amused at the same time.] I think you and Uraraka-san should be the ones wearing the flower crowns! It would suit you both.

[Anddd as per Uraraka's Very Important instructions, Izuku begins picking some of the dandelion flowers from their clusters.]

[glaciers]

[Shouto will start picking some flowers.]

Of course you. You're always trying to look at the bright side of things. Flowers suit you.

Uraraka is always smiling.

... I don't think it fits me as well.

[thriftea]

[Shouto, my boy, are you ready to get hit by a wave of positivity? A veritable tsunami of positivity? Because it's happening.]

I don't think that's true at all. [She pauses her flower picking long enough to glance over his way.] Look at how much fun all three of us are having together! It wouldn't be the same if you weren't here, because you make us happy, Todoroki-kun! And flowers make everyone happy, so you know... they really do fit you.

Right, Deku-kun?

[inheritance]

Right! [No hesitation whatsoever. Because why wouldn't he think that Todoroki deserve flower crowns if the rest of them are getting to wear them?] Uraraka-san said it. Having you as our friend makes us happy.

Besides... [He glances at Todoroki, smiling as he thinks of a conversation they'd had a while ago.] Heroes deserve flower crowns, so that definitely means you should get one.

[glaciers]

[ A wave of pleasant warmth washes over him. They're friends- it's the first time somebody has said they're happy to be around him.

The smile he manages is small, but content. ]

I like being your friend. It makes me happy too. [ If he had to be trapped in an alien town, he's glad he's with them.]

[thriftea]

[He's... smiling? Her eyes flick over to Deku, just to make sure that he's definitely seeing this, before she looks back at Shouto and beams. HE'S SMILING!]

I'm glad you feel the same way! That's why we're going to make the make the best flower crowns together. Maybe we'll even give you the biggest one!

[She's going back to picking flowers now, humming to herself while she works, because dang, seeing him smile is... so nice...

But soon she has a lap full of nice-looking dandelions, and she sits back with a satisfied sigh.]

I think I finally have enough. What about you two?

[inheritance]

[He meets her gaze, his own smile warm and understanding. Yes, he's seeing it, too, Uraraka-san!] Or the fanciest one.

I have enough dandelions, but!! [Don't mind him dashing off, leaving his dandelions on the grass where he was standing just a second ago. And then he's back, adding a handful of dark purple flowers to the pile triumphantly.] I saw these earlier today. Do you think we can add them to the crowns?
