[Honestly, Guren could probably pull back in time to dodge that punch, but he'd still lose his chance to get the knife back. So, he takes it. He takes it because he wants to see how hard Akira is punching in this, and because he thinks he deserves it anyway.]

There you go. [His hand still lifts to rub at his cheek as if it hurts, which it does, but he's completely fine. Even his cut he'd given himself from the knife on his hand was done bleeding, now.]

I didn't change all that much of your style, but I taught you how to utilize it a little better. [That's faster.]

[Akira learned from the shadow incident that Guren heals quickly, so he's not particularly worried about him. A little blood, a few injuries... they're bound to happen. He's suffering from a few small wounds himself, though he'll just cast a Diarahan on himself later.]

Yeah. [He can feel it. Guren definitely helped him, the way he thinks about striking and defending. And he learned how to disarm an opponent! At least, one with a knife.]

[I have submitted this thread now!! But good, they can both be chill and calm about bleeding in Guren's room, not worrying about each other and leaving Yata to do the yelling later. Probably.]

It's not a problem. Especially if you're going to be helping out on the defense force. You might have that help of yours, but if there are times you can't use it, it's important to be able to take on anything.

Right. Especially since it makes me tired to use it...

[He's built up a lot of stamina while fighting in palaces, but eventually he'll always wear out after using his Persona too much. There's just nothing that can be done about that.

So it's good, to know more knife moves.]

[Hmm. He doesn't know if he'll still have time to set up spars and teacher/student things with the defense force, or if he should incorporate it, or what... but he knows Akira should continue to work on those skills.

Of course, Guren is such a busy guy, he doesn't usually offer himself up. This time, though... they live in the same house.]
