Ten...?

[That's... a bunch. So that means he's responsible for two.

If he could just summon Arsene and use Dream Needle, that should knock them out fast enough for him and Kaoru to grab something to secure them all. Of course, that would mean revealing his powers to Kaoru...

But, well, she already did the same for him. Might as well return the favor.]

I can handle the two bigger ones.

[So saying, he poofs into his Phantom Thief outfit like that's a normal thing people do all the time.]

[She wasn't doubting him, exactly. She just had no idea what he can do so she's kind of curious how he planned to do that.

Even though he'd never mentioned it she always figured there must be something he's not telling her. After all the way he'd jumped off the bridge that first time they'd met just wasn't something people just picked up.

She never would have guessed there'd be an instantaneous transformation involved.]

...are you some kind of magical girl? [But wait. That's not actually important, right now was it?] Well, I guess I can ask you about it later.

[A... a magical girl...

Actually, when he thinks about it... it is a little like that, isn't it?

Well, never mind that; they have geese to catch. He nods.]

You take the ten, and I'll handle the two big ones.

[He says it as his soul reaches inward for Arsene, feeling the thrum of the Persona's energy in his chest. A few stout Dream Needles out to have these ugly birds snoozing.]

[She nods with a grin.] Leave them to me.

[And hopefully he's not hoping for stealth because she's holding both hands out and shouting,] Psychic Goose Round Up!

[And with that the ten geese that are regular sized are floating up into the air, unable to fly away even if they struggle. She helpfully turns the fire breathing one around so it was facing away from them.]

[Well... it worked.

But now the two remaining geese are turning on them pretty fast, and one of them raises its wings, giving one quick flap - and somehow that flap is enough to send a gust of wind hard enough to send Akira toppling back.]

Arsene!

[He yells it as he braces himself against a tree and pushes himself up. It could have been cooler but beggars can't be choosers.

The Dream Needle that shoots out of Arsene's hand hits the goose flapping around, sending it instantly to sleep, and he turns his attention to the other one.]

[The fire breathing one is struggling to turn around and...actually, geese have pretty long necks, don't they? Ugh.

She's so busy trying to pinch that goose's mouth shut without hurting it by accident that she didn't have enough left to catch Akira when the wind toppled him.

She was turning to ask if he was all right when...okay. Wow. She hadn't expected that.]

Whoa...that's so cool! [SHE WANTS TO ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS SO BADLY. But she's trying to juggle ten geese as well as keep one's mouth (beak) shut while her Limiter was still on and he still had a goose to take out so maybe now wasn't the time.]

[There will be time for questions later!!

Is what Akira would say, but he's busy getting himself together to get the second goose, who has turned on him and is spitting angrily over the attack on its friend. He has to get another Dream Needle in this thing, so it will go to sleep.

(And maybe he wants to show off a bit. Kaoru is the first person here to actually say this is cool.)

Now on his feet and stable once again, he stares down the goose, raising his arm. Arsene does too, in time with him.

And then he shoots another Dream Needle, and the goose falls at his feet, wheezing softly.]

There.

[SHE HAS SO MANY QUESTIONS. But you know what would be easier? If she just pushed all ten of those honking geese together into a clump. So she's going to do that.

When she comes closer it's with a ball of honking geese floating behind her.]

Are they asleep? [They're not dead so...] I didn't know you could do that! It's so cool! [Oops. She said that already, didn't she? But wait, what would happen if she touched this...what is it even? A doll? A summon? She probably shouldn't though, without permission, right?]

[A nod. They are just asleep! No murdered geese here.

As for Arsene, he floats nearby while Kaoru approaches. He chuckles quietly, though does nothing to stop her if she wants to touch.]

I've been keeping it a secret.

[For various reasons, though he knows now he has no reason to hide from Kaoru.]

It's a Persona.

[Since no one is stopping her she's totally going to poke Arsene. Wow. This is really, really cool!

She tilts her head with a curious expression. But well, she knows what it's like to want to keep secrets.]

Then I'm glad you're willing to let me in on this secret. [But then she grins a little.] Unless you only did it because you were scared of the geese and had no other choice?

What's a persona? It's not like one of Tim's dolls, is it? [...Kaoru. Stop name dropping your friends like everyone knows them.]

Well. It did help.

[He probably would have been useless against the geese otherwise... but he trusts Kaoru with this secret, geese or no.]

It's... a being that resides in my soul. Or, has the potential to reside in anyone's soul.

[He steps closer, looking over Arsene.] Another self. That's what they are.

[Arsene chuckles again, though letting Kaoru touch him. He seems accommodating enough.]
