I won't tell. But... you two have been together a long time then, right? It seems to me like you know each other really well.
[They're really, really good friends, aren't they? Family, too--that's something precious. Minato's glad they have each other.]

He probably knows me better than I know him, in all honesty. I understand how he ticks and what he's feeling, but that's only on the surface level. There's a lot about him that I don't get, and I think he wants to keep it that way.
Like I've told you before, he wasn't... always like this. Really, how he was and how he is... they might as well be two different people.

You mean like with your pendants.
He was different before, right? Before he got his pendant.

I wish you could've seen it, everyone was so happy then. Especially the three of us- we were inseparable! Looking out for each other and, and...! [ He seemed overjoyed talking about the past like this. He missed that side of Kyrie a lot, but he'd never admit that out loud. Still he bounded forward to tug Minato into yet another gracious hug. ]
He was so honest, too! I was so proud of him because he picked up on things so fast and he was so excited to learn about everything since he had a flawless memory.

What could have made him change so drastically...?
Minato's expression shifts a bit more contemplatively, though he just nods along with Caramia's bright words--until Caramia's just dragging him into another enthusiastic hug, and Minato's contemplation dissolves into simple surprise.
You'd think he'd be used to this by now, but he's not.]
Oh...
[... Still, isn't Caramia's enthusiasm endearing...?]
That sounds really nice, Caramia-san. Kind of like...a really perfect family, right?

Well, now he considered Minato his family, too, so really, the three of them kind of made a perfect family again, didn't it? He may have missed the past, but right now, as much as he may have missed home, he was quite happy here, with Kyrie and the new friends he made, and Minato was definitely someone now dear to him.
Unable to contain this spurt of adoration, he tucked Minato in closer and pressed a quick peck against his forehead. ]

Seeing Caramia's happiness is nice, of course, but he definitely wasn't expecting that spur of a moment reaction. Caramia scoops him up in his arms as easily as that, tucking him into a closer hug, and presses his lips to Minato's forehead, and really...
Startled as he is, he can't say he minds it. Caramia's giddiness, his joy... it's catching, and Minato blinks slowly--and then he smiles, lips curving upwards in a warm expression. It's as muted as Minato's expressions usually are, but... it's still sincere, and warm, because he really is so happy for Caramia, who is someone with so much love to give.]
Caramia-san...
[He won't try to pull away from this closeness either--because maybe, for him too, it's so, so pleasant to be wrapped up in the closeness of a warm hug like this.]
... I'm glad I know you. You're...a really, really loving person.

Someday. ]
Ah- haha, I suppose I am. It comes quite naturally. [ How much did Minato know about lions? From what he can recall, his pride was always quite affectionate with each other. The males who weren't his father didn't try to eat him or anything! That's how you knew the pride was real close.
Affection and kind gestures were all he really knew in terms of expressing himself. Words were much too hard sometimes, and he could never find the right ones when he really needed it. ]
I may not have known you nearly as long as I've known Kyrie, but you're still important to me as well, Minato. You're like famiglia, too.

But it's fine, because Caramia's a sweet person, who really does feel that enthusiastic and warm about everything he's been saying, and here...
Here, in this place, is where Caramia is telling him that he's like family, and for a boy who grew up shuffled from home to home, orphanage to home and back again, because not a single person ever wanted him--
It means so much to him here and now to hear that Caramia thinks of him that way, and there's a funny little smile on his face, almost bittersweet (but heavier on the sweet than the bitter) as he dips his head.]
Thank you. Honestly, Caramia-san... thank you. I...think of you that way too.
[And, with quiet sincerity:]
I'm...glad I'm here right now. [In this place, surrounded by these people--he really is glad.]
