Even when the starry sky dissolves at dawn

WHAT: The town's regained both some aspects of evening and a starry night sky. Stargazing is clearly in order.
WARNINGS: All that good pure cute, probably.

The town is just a little bit different today. Color has returned to some objects, even phenomenon, and it has left others. Slowly but surely, things are changing.

In some cases, very big things are changing.

Maybe someone looks out a window, maybe they're out late in the evening. At around 6pm, the sky takes on it's normal hue, just for a moment. And later, as darkness falls....

The stars blink into existence, one by one.

[That sounds a little dangerous, and thanks to Akira's experiences, he's suspicious of adults invading schools for their own desires.]

And the school just... allows that?

He has diplomatic immunity. And he looks and acts like a giant baby anyway, so most people can't see a difference.

[If anything, he's probably invading the school because he's worried both for Kaoru, Shiho and Aoi as well as for his own kids.

She's still going to drag his name through the mud though.]

He's weird. [So, so weird. Besides, Shiho is certain that Hyoubu Kyousuke never has honest intentions.]

But he's associated with the Roviet embassy so we can't do anything about him besides calling him names while he isn't there.

It's a country. Big, cold? [And its known as something else in a world where the artist didn't decide to change all the names of the countries because a disclaimer wasn't enough.]

It's interesting, how many different versions of the same world can exist.

Well, they say that with every decision that can be made, another universe is created, right? Maybe somewhere in the past, someone took a right turn or something and so Roviet never existed.

[Which is weird to think about, that sometimes the smallest decisions can have such a big impact.]

Hmm, maybe. I guess it's as simple as naming a country something different than we did.

[When he thinks about it that way, it's a little easier to understand. Everything in their world is the product of a decision someone made at some point in history, after all.]

Could be? [Then again, the only reason why their country is named something different is to discourage people from complaining about historical inaccuracy...]

The one where a butterfly’s wings end up causing a tornado, right? I think it’s something like that too. Though I wonder what ended up creating a world like mine. Maybe a dinosaur wandered into a suspicious cave by accident? [And gained psychic powers?!]

Was that dinosaur the ancestor of the person who would name the country differently? Maybe he fell in a tar pit, too young.

So in your world they're probably a fossil somewhere? While in mine they survived and came up with a silly name? [psychic powered dinosaurs though, what a strange idea...]

Maybe a whole race of dinosaurs live there, and passed on the name to humans later.

That would be pretty terrifying. [Putting something with telepathy in a cage in a zoo... it's just asking to get your head chomped off.]

[Though telekinetic dinosaurs would be just as terrifying. Then again, maybe they wouldn’t have the brain power necessary to use ESP? After all, people had done their illegal ESP experiments on dolphins and squirrels, not on lizards and chickens.]
