[She like, doesn't have eyes anymore, she can't do anything to them now— but sure, Rin can take care of the final blow himself. Okuyasu waits until the monster shudders and slumps over the blade, definitely dead, then The Hand winks out of the air.
...Cool? They did it?]
That was sick. [Gross sick, but a little cool sick, too.]

But Okuyasu does have something of a point because the last stab finally makes her charred remains stop moving. He pulls the blade back out, letting the corpse of the demon collapse to the forest floor in a heap as her spidery minions decide to nope the fuck out back in to the depths of the trees.
Scowling, Rin nudges the body with his foot, but against all his worries it doesn't move.
Good.
He sighs and reseaths his sword, rolling his head around with a hand to his neck, a few pops working out from stiff joints.]
Geez. Haven't done that in a while...
[Exorcising demons was a lot easier when they had somewhere to go. Killing was not exactly Rin's favorite thing to do, even to a demon.
But now that it was over--]
Fine, we survived. You're forgiven for almost gettin' us killed over your boner over a demon.

[Rin knows, man. He's had so many close calls. High level demons are scary shit, even for someone as powerful as he is.
He'll let the beginning of that whole thing go now. He's had his fun at the cost of Okuyasu's pride. Enough was enough.]
