I'd like to creep into the wood And see the bonnets blue, And hear the bluebells ringing loud, I wish I could -- don't you?
t's another day, another month, and another time for people to show up in the well. You'd better go rescue them! Never mind the fact that you woke up with a flower in your hands.
It's probably fine. Don't mind it at all. It's not like it's hard to ignore a little flower.
(At least, not until the effects start to kick in. Better go rescue the people in the well before they do.)
Oh, right. Even the people in the well have flowers, so... things are going to be a little ridiculous very quickly, when all of those side effects kick in. Have fun!

[Xie Lian's been surprisingly lucky lately, ever since picking up that 5-leaf clover...even now, when that wall collapses he can't help moving instinctively to defend himself, only to discover that he's completely unscathed.
The mention of curses pulls his attention away from wondering over his recent good fortune to give the other man a curious look instead.]
[ Luo Binghe is also reaching for his own sword when he realises it's just a wall falling over, sighing inwardly at the irony of it all. He's never seen anything like this place or the current bad luck that's on going. He's even disposed of the bells of Ireland but it still seems to linger.
The tansy is nice enough to keep though and the new person gets a small nod in confirmation.]
What else can it or this place be? This one is fine for now.
While I'm not sure what "it" is that you speak of, you might be right in saying that this place is cursed, in a way...
[There's a thoughtful hum, before he offers a reassuring smile.]
Whatever may be going on though, the effects usually wear off within the week. I'm happy to help you as well if you need it--you've just arrived here, I'm guessing?
[ Binghe looks around at their surroundings, taking note of how colourless everything is. It was jarring at first, a stark change when crawling out of the well that had him almost reeling. Even now as crimson eyes adjust, Binghe wonders just what happened to cause such a thing and this new person seems to have an understand, not to mention an offer of help.]
[There's a thoughtful hum at that question, as Xie Lian's gaze sweeps over their surroundings.]
Well, I don't believe anything's been clearly revealed just yet, but it was likely caused by the previous inhabitants of this place, before they disappeared.
[He knows there's been a few stories about that previous generation, but. Better to focus on the things he knows for sure.]
What I do know is that our actions here have been helping to bring the color back. How that works is beyond me, but it's made mealtimes rather more interesting, at least.
[ Binghe doesn't know if it's on purpose or not. But he can't say it feels entirely random either. Maybe there's some plan they don't know of, he doesn't know, he just understands that the person responsible for this will be very sorry the moment they show their face.
Colourless ...food? The peach gets a slow blink and Binghe gracious accepts it with a small nod of the head and both hands. ]
tansy

A curse, you say? Are you alright?

Yes, new. What took the colour away?

So the people here previous took the colour away and then left. Now people are being brought here without being told and have to restore it?
[ Sounds stupid, Binghe wonders if they'll be able to find the one in charge, see how stupid they truly are...
Wait what?]
Interesting? How so?

[The way he puts it makes it sound like the previous people did all this on purpose? But hey, sure, he's not gonna debate that idea.]
Firstly, it seems that colorless foods tend not to taste right--and those that do have color aren't always the right color. Like this, for example.
[Reaching into his qiankun sleeve, he pulls out...a green peach! And offers it. Go on, have some free food.]

Is it not ripe...?

[For his next trick, he pulls a handful of turquoise raspberries out of his sleeve! And pops one into his mouth.]
Despite the color, I assure you it tastes just fine.
