t's a beautiful day today. The sun is shining, the Town is peaceful...and there's a new fluffy (or scaly or slimy or who knows what) friend living in your home, staring at you. One moment they're gone, then next they're there, staring at you with bright, inquisitive eyes.
At first, everything seems fine -- they're friendly, and cute, even, and very helpful. But... well, as per all things in the Town?
It can't ever be that easy.
Take care to watch out for what these Cute Animal Companions are going to do, because it's not going to be pretty.

It—It can’t be. The King of Mages was… [ wait is he even allowed to talk about this??
Shaking his head— ]
Even if its source was restored, there would be no way for us to reach it. As it stands, all I can really do is cut them down, except…it seems to make things worse.

The king of-? [He gives Archer a curious look, but only a very short one. If he wants to skip over it then it's probably not relevant to the fight, right?
Gonna file it away for later anyway, just in case.]
By worse, do you mean that cutting them makes them multiply, or something else? If they had recognizable necks I might be able to use Ruo Ye, but...at the moment the most viable solution I can think of is to seal them inside. [Not the best solution, but.]

[ He shudders, because honestly it’s one of the grossest things he’s ever seen. ]
But what of this “Ruo Ye”? At this point, I would accept any solution that does not bring harm upon either yourself or the rest of the town.
[ He glances over at the house, clutching his picture frame tight. At least the Holy Grail is safe in the hands of the paragon of knights. ]
And…I suppose, we can always live elsewhere, if need be.

This is Ruo Ye. I don't believe it would do very well against an opponent like this, though I'm willing to send it in if you think it would work. [Maybe they're weak to silk?? Ruo Ye doesn't seem very keen on the idea though, lying back flat against his arm when he mentions sending it in.
He reaches into his sleeve and pulls out a few talismans, just in case.]
...I would prefer to defeat them though, if at all possible...

I fear they might incinerate such a thing, but…
[ Maybe there’s something about Ruo Ye he isn’t getting? Like it has some sort of demon-neutralizing powers or somesuch? Because that would be pretty awesome. ]
I can lead them outside, first, though you really must hide. They have a clear advantage out in the open…

....It kinda tickles...he might've made a little noise at the movement, but anyway you heard nothing!!] --Alright, I'll hide. But where will you lead them to?
no subject
I was thinking the forest, as no doubt creatures of this ilk belong there.
[ Though by “this ilk” he’s really referring to this world itself, and its alarming penchant to cause mischief on the townspeople. ]
No doubt these creatures will find a way to escape even from there, but…this might grant us some small reprieve. There is much of the house that needs to be set aright.
[ He’s a little apologetic as he says that, because of course he’s blaming the mess inside on himself. ]
no subject
Perhaps I could put up some defensive talismans once they're out? I don't know how it might affect them, but it's something we can try, at least...ah, and I can try to set the house back to rights while I'm at it.
[Would he rather be fighting the eyepocalypse? Maybe! But he'll do what he can, anyway.]
no subject
[ At least to the talismans thing. He’s seen a little of how they work based on Wuxian’s own magic, but who knows what that’ll do to the demon god pillars. He’ll take whatever help he can, though. He might not need a home, but Nero’s portr—er, Xie Lian sure does!! ]
And I will be certain to help you with the cleaning as soon as I am rid of them.
