Open Mingle for Post Dragon Invasion Clean Up
WHO: Everyone in Town
WHERE: All over
WHEN: After the dragons leave
WHAT: Repairing buildings, dealing with dragon corpses, freaking out about the encroaching forest, dealing with injuries, etc.
WARNINGS: Dead dragons, maybe.
The dragons sure did a number on the town, didn't they?
Buildings have been burned down (or crushed), the forest has apparently decided to play at territory invasion (again) and there are dragon cadavers around the town.
And, unfortunately, these things don't magically take care of themselves.
Thankfully, as long as everyone pitches in, clean up shouldn't be too hard!
Maybe. Assuming at least a few people know what they're doing. Except, you know, apparently the trees on the edge of town grow back the next day if destroyed.
((OOC: Just a mingle post for post event stuff! Go ahead and make your own top levels!)

[Akira is one of the ones who... doesn't really know what he's doing. But he tries?
He's made it his main mission to go into the burned down buildings, scouting for anything that might be useful and undamaged (or at least easily repaired) and bringing it back to a little pile he has going. And he's changed into his Joker outfit to do it, because it's just a little safer that way.
So yeah, a long black jacket, red gloves, and a white mask... someone running around like that in that in broad daylight is totally not suspicious, right? Well it's fine. Catch him running in and out of various crumbling buildings throughout the day.]
B
[In the afternoon, he starts to think that his fellow workers might need a little pick-me-up. That's what's led to him pulling a small wagon he found in his digging (a little wobbly and charred, but good enough), laden with pots of warm coffee freshly brewed in his cafe not too long ago along with little mugs. He's back in his normal clothes now, too.
He'll wave at anyone he sees working.]
Need any coffee?
[A break and some caffeine can't hurt!]
B
Her arms hurt from all this work...
So when Akira offers her coffee she's happy to abandon what she's doing and walk over.]
You're the best, you know that? [Offering free coffee!]

Just doing what I can to help out.
[That doesn't involve hard labor. At least not right now...]
The wall's looking good. [Or at least... not as depressingly broken as it was?]
no subject
[But she'll take the coffee black too! She sighs at the reminder of the wall though.]
It'd look a lot better if I could use my powers to do this...
no subject
[It came with his last gift from the town. He's been rationing it, though he'll let her have some!]
I can make a less bitter roast next time if you want... [But the coffee isn't that important.]
You can't use your powers?
no subject
I can...but my head starts to hurt and Shiho said I need to rest.
[She shrugs. Then takes a sip of her coffee. It's warm. That's what matters the most.] Minamoto says it's like over using a muscle. When you do that, it becomes tired and you have to rest to let it recover.
[And she's been fighting dragons all this time.]

[Eventually, they always have to turn back. Their stamina can only hold out for so long, after all.]
They're also not that useful for town repair... [Unfortunately!]

[A long sigh.] But usually if I dealt with the disaster Wild Cat would take care of the stuff after.
no subject
Wild Cat?
[Another esper...?]

Is it more normal for espers to work alone, or in groups?
no subject
It depends on the esper and the powers involved, but at Babel, it's more common for special espers to work in teams. And sometimes we'll work with other teams too. Wild Cat has worked with us more than once when we needed an extra psychokinetic. [Then, as if she just remembered it, she pointed at herself.] Our team is called the Children, by the way.

Were you the only children?
[Or was it because of their super future selves?]

Ah... I hope I'm not interrupting?

[He hops down from the almost free-hanging floor he was standing on, landing lightly on the ground. He's significantly more agile in this form, even if it's supposedly just a costume change.]
Can I help you?
no subject
no subject
[Well, that's not really true, but he doesn't know how to explain it.]
But feel free to ask.

[He's happy to tell her that much.]

They're entities that live in the sea of human consciousness. I can harness their power to cast spells and use other abilities.

I guess... theoretically, anyone could do it, but you have to awaken to it. [And that part is a lot more fuzzy.]
no subject
I see... how did you come to awaken it yourself?
no subject
[At a lot of things.]
That's when my first Persona appeared. He saved my life, and the life of my friend.
