WHAT: Jim isn't used to having all this free time.
WARNINGS: Nothing probably.
i: Looking for worms
[Jim's life had become...really hectic since he found the Amulet of Daylight. So suddenly having all this free time is so strange.
So he finds things to occupy himself with. He knows he's no good at hunting...but he doesn't want to rely entirely on his roommates to get ingredients.
After some digging around in the store, he manages to find a fishing rod! Success! But now he needs to find bait.
Which is why he's digging in the dirt with a small, rusty hand shovel. Then he stops and groans.]
Still nothing... [He notices you watching and, far from being embarrassed, he just waves.] I don't suppose you know where I can find some worms?
ii: Training is important
[Just because Blinky isn't here, just beause he'll go back and nothing will have progressed doesn't mean he doesn't need to train.
In fact, Jim feels like this is the perfect time to get some training in! That way he'll have gotten extra training by the time he got back!
Though without the Hero's Forge (not that he's been able to train there for a while now) and no other places to train he's going to need to get...creative.
Which is why you may catch him trying to tie some hay and logs together to make a training dummy. it might look a bit like a naked scarecrow though.
When he thinks he's done. He's going to look at his rather lacklustre attempts and nod.]

[Yes, he's asking you. And as if on cue, the dummy leans over to one side before falling down. Or maybe its arms fall off. Either way...he has the grace to look embarrassed when it happens.]

Some part of him is wondering why he's arguing to have himself thrown into the water when he's spent so much of his life since getting the amulet arguing against being put into weird situations (before giving in two seconds in because it wasn't worth it to argue). But maybe the difference is that he can't be bothered to argue against, say, being put into a machine for shrinking trolls that has never been used on humans, but he'd probably have argued harder if it was someone else being put in.]
...how certain are you about that? Are immortal cultivators immune to catching colds?

If I am honest, I would say I'm not "okay" with it, but this is a good chance for us to do something for the town. So whether or not I'm okay doesn't matter if it is for the greater good.
[ Sounding real dramatic for a person that's just asking to be thrown off a pier, but whatever! ]

[He sighs then steps closer and...did he actually have to throw him? Because his training didn't tend to cover throws because his enemies tended to either be trolls, who were too heavy for his puny teenage arms to throw, that or they were goblin sized or smaller and the technique for that was similar to throwing a football.
So he'll just walk up to him, hesitate. Bring up his arms...hesitate again before he closes his eyes and just....shoves Shen Qingqiu in. '

... OH NO! The water makes his entire body break out in goosebumps and it feels wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong! He can't even properly explain how wrong that it feels to be in the water but he wants to be out of it. I would like to be out! OUT! Swirling a burst of energy beneath him, he is going to shoot up out and back onto the pier. ]

I like being able to help. Making dinner and cleaning isn't really as big as what my mom does...but it's something I could do for her while she's out there saving lives. So yeah...I do like it.
