[Though the weather stays stubbornly cold, Izuku still forces himself to go out to the edge of the forest in the late mornings. The terrible weather makes it even more important to collect certain things, in his opinion, even if it means he has to bundle up to do it.

Anyone wandering in the area will see him crouching down and examining one of the plants with a puzzled look on his face. There's a little basket beside him that's completely forgotten for the moment.]

That's weird...it definitely didn't look like this before.

B. Quest 50

[So...given the nature of the quest, Izuku figures that preparation would be a good idea, or the town would have more than its usual share of colds going around. It's a relief that the quest is so straight forward--or, he hopes it is. At this point, Izuku isn't willing to voice that thought, in case he ends up jinxing it again.

Either way, there he is, sitting on one of the docks with a sizeable stack of towels beside him.]

Are you thinking about doing the quest? [Izuku grins, gesturing at the towels.] You'll probably need one of these. The water's really cold, even without the weather making it worse.

Nero | Quest 48

[Despite the times he and Nero have worked on a quest together, there's still a lot that he doesn't know about her. Given all that, this particular quest seems like the perfect opportunity to work on their friendship.]

What's something that you haven't done before, Saber-san? [He shoots a little grin in her direction.] It's too bad we're going to be limited when it comes to music.

Percy | Quest 49

[To say that Izuku's never been curious about someone else's powers would be one of the biggest lies ever told, even if he's more than content now having the quirk that All Might gave him. Percy, of course, is one such person he's always wondered about, especially when he allows himself to admit that they have more than a few similarities when it comes to their personalities.

Izuku nervously bites at his bottom lip as he eyes Percy. They've found a nice clearing near the forest to use for this, in the very likely case that they end up losing control of their powers during the swap.]

Last chance to change your mind. [Izuku knows that his quirk, in particular, with its nasty backlash, is something that would make most people hesitate.]

[So it's a little like having anxious energy thrumming through his veins when he and Izuku step into the forest. He's power-swapped before. That wasn't a big deal. But...bodyswapping was something he hasn't even really experienced, and that's impressive enough.

Obviously it meant he needed to do it immediately.]

And miss seeing what having a Quirk is like? No way. I want to see how different it is than being myself anyway.

Dextera | Quest 51

[It's a meeting that's way overdue, in some ways. Though he and everyone else in this town have slowly gotten used to the disappearances, some of those losses still cut pretty deep. He only wishes that it hadn't taken a quest to remind him that it might be a good idea to talk about those losses.

Izuku knocks politely, waiting for Dextera to open the door.] It's me!

[ the meeting is extremely overdue, though by the same token, it’s perfect timing. dextera has had space from his feelings, and although he doesn’t love guren—or any of the people who have disappeared—any less, he’s much better now at holding himself together.

when he opens the door, he’s able to greet izuku with soft confidence, and more importantly, his voice. ]

Tristan | Quest 51

[The timing of the quest feels so perfect, after Tristan mentioned losing Zelda last time, Izuku figures it wouldn't be right to pass up this chance to contact Tristan again. Quest aside, he owes his new friend his gratitude for his help.]

Archer-san, would you like to do the remembrance quest with me? I thought it'd be nice to remember Zelda-san.

I thought I might sing a few more hymns in her honor, but perhaps you might have something else in mind?

( Never one to stay still and especially not in a small area, it's not uncommon for Mutsunokami to also get out, even if it's cold. It's better than staying inside cold and miserable. So bundled up, he heads out to see what he can find of interest. When he sees Izuku, he naturally goes over just in time to hear him mumble something to himself.
