t's yet another day in which a bunch of people ended up in the bottom of the well. It's very, very cold down there, though spring is at least slowly starting to make itself known -- But the people in the Town who would usually come save you might be a little distracted today by the glimmer of scales on the ground, and the unfortunate side effects that come along with them. Don't worry, friends in the well -- as soon as you haul yourself out via magic powers or that convenient rope ladder dangling down into the water, you too can join in the chaos of picking up those sparkly, pretty scales. If you truly think so. [ He’s not convinced, but he’s resolved to play lifeguard if anything should happen. ]

I suppose I should take my position…here? [ He’s backing away a few paces from the shallower end of the harbor. He’s still very unsure about this but Mutsunokami seems so determined…and he would feel bad at the guy’s honest efforts to cheer him up… ]

( Let him brag. He's very proud of his master! And he loves the sea so he's not afraid of water. Nodding, he takes a step back to get into a ready position and holds out his hand in a fist. )

( Rock, paper, scissors. 1, 2, 3! He's got scissors because of course he'd go for a bladed choice he's a sword. )

Here! [ And out comes…paper. Dammit. With a nod, Tristan takes a step back, fully aware of harbor’s edge just a few paces away. This is actually getting kind of exciting. ]
