ouch is one of the most intimate, romantic ways to be close to someone else. The Town knows this very well -- the Town wants everyone to be as close as possible.
Perhaps that's why this bonding is so...aggressive.

( He's quiet for a while, almost uncharacteristically so as he takes a moment to collect himself again. For someone usually so bright and full of energy, he doesn't like to show that more vulnerable time from long ago. He can't quite bring himself to let Dextera go just yet but after some time... his grip loosen and he lets the other go free. )
