Telepathy is a psychic power that allows someone to read the thoughts of others as well as project their own thoughts into other people's minds. Espers that use telepathy are telepaths.

So where is the hall a special room? I'm assuming it's not just a random hallway.

Each hallway in this castle serves a purpose. Not one is random. [He knows what she means, but he'll not stand for a single irreverent comment about this keep.] But if you must know, the hall I mentioned is merely on the way.

[Berkut stops abruptly before a door and pushes it open, revealing a chamber on the other side. The furnishing is sparse with a bed fit for a noble occupying the most space; even so, there's still plenty of room to maneuver. Near the farthest wall from the door, far from the table situated across the bed, fragments of a broken glass lie scattered on the floor.]
[Everyone has secrets they want to hide. It's normal! Also they're near strangers.]

[He stares at the wall where the broken glass sits, as though he hadn't heard her. In reality, he's considering what to say. He has nothing to hide, but there's hardly any dignity behind the fact that he'd been (literally) throwing a fit.
Leaving this place, however, takes precedence.]
I had just returned from battle. Dissatisfied with my performance, I threw a glass at the wall. Shortly after, that voice bade me to call it.
[Ugh. No matter which way he words it, it sounds bad.]
[It did sound bad, but then again, there could be a lot of reason he was dissatisfied. After that period between five years old and ten where everyone assumed the worst of her she was hesitant to make a judgement too early.]

[Just thinking about it makes his blood boil. He's nowhere near as livid as he had been a month ago, but the sting in his pride will arguably never stop. What's worse, he can't do anything about the loss while he's in Chroma.
As if to reflect his mood, the sound of shattering glass cuts through the quiet. Nothing has broken. It's an echo of the time that broken glass on the floor had been whole and made contact with the wall.]
Well, anyone would be dissatisfied with that... [She, too, hated when she had to pull out of a situation because it was beyond her power to handle. Like the time she had to abandon Minamoto during that mudslide to protect the shelter.
She startles a little at the sound of broken glass. Well. Seems like they might be on the right track...]
[She knows all the right questions to ask, doesn't she? Right, perhaps; but certainly not the best for Berkut, who doesn't want to think about that. Mercifully, the castle doesn't speak for him this once.
[With how sparse the furnishing is, it can easily serve as anyone's private chamber. He's not a materialistic person by any means. It's likely that the room doesn't see much use.]

[He's already halfway out the door. Kaoru, on the other hand, will notice a disturbance in the floor where the glass shards lie. The stone seems to distort until a single bloodshot eye opens beneath the broken glass, looking this and that way.]

...uh.] Your highness? [She blindly reaches back to him, and if he's too far, out of instinct she will still pull on his sleeve a little with her power.] Is this supposed to be there?
