[Closed] I know you
WHO: Akira, Lupin, and Akechi
WHERE: Lupin and Akechi's house
WHEN: Late January (backdated)
WHAT: Akira can remove Akechi's curse, but it's good to have Lupin as a buffer.
WARNINGS: none probably
[The castle hadn't been the easiest place to steal from, but not the hardest either (at least he didn't have to throw himself out of any airlocks). And so it doesn't take Akira too long, after Lupin explains how the curse works to him, to acquire an item (a black feather quill - how fitting) and return relatively safely to Chroma.
He's not really sure what to expect - if Akechi still thinks he cheated on him, this could end in another fight (though hopefully not a physical one this time). Maybe he won't remember? That might just be wishful thinking, though.
And it's the easy way out. Maybe they should just face it head on. Maybe...
But right now, the most important thing is to wake him up. And so he knocks on Lupin's door in warning, before opening it and stepping inside.]
Arsène?

Arsène?

He's glad Akira handled this one, basically.
He's not surprised to see him, though he can't help but double check what he's holding this time (just a feather, thank the lord), and despite the circumstances, he offers him a smile and a wave, getting up from his seat. ]
Yo, Junior. Looks like work went well?

Instead, he just holds up the feather with a triumphant grin.]
Well enough. Hopefully this is all we need to wake him up.
[Maybe Akechi got a good nap while he was out. Good enough to not be mad at Akira anymore, anyway...]
What do we do? Just... give it to him?

the question seems to give Lupin some pause, also because of his previous findings, but in the end, he just nods, although he looks very, very slightly uneasy. ]
Uh - yeah! If you just put it in his hand, that'll help him.
[ that's what you're supposed to do with a quill, right?! He gets up from his seat, beckoning Akira to follow after him to Akechi's room. ]
The cure you found isn't much like mine. Let's hope it does the trick.

He follows Lupin to Akechi's room, looking at the quill curiously. It seems completely ordinary, so how can it help? But Lupin seems like he thinks it will work, and he'd felt drawn to it at the castle, so surely this is okay.
It has to be, if they're going to wake up Akechi.]
Seems simple enough. [Thank goodness.]

That's neither here nor there, however. He focuses on the problem in front of him: Akechi, who appears to be simply sleeping in his bed, save for the pallor of his skin. Lupin frowns when he sees him. He really does hope this works... ]
... He's been like this for a while now. [ Lupin drops a hand on Akechi's head, gently brushing his bangs aside, then glances over to Akira. ] Time for your heroic rescue, I think.
no subject
It might be that Akechi won't want to see him, when he wakes.]
...Maybe you should do it.
[So saying, he holds the feather out to Lupin to take.]

Did something happen...?
[ something must have. It's not like Akira to hesitate on these matters - especially not if Akira's really got a piece of him inside. ]

...I think the curse made him... see things.
[Akira reaches up to play with his bangs self-consciously.]
He thought I was cheating on him.
[Hopefully Lupin realizes he wasn't.]

Let's hope it was just the sickness. I worry Akechi's rather paranoid about these things.
[ with good reason, if he spent his childhood alone. But this isn't Lupin's place to meddle, for once; it's their relationship, and he knows nothing about how one between two men works, besides. He draws his gaze back to Akechi, gently taking his wrist in one hand. ]
You'll have a chance to talk it out in a moment, so I'd get brainstorming on what to say. [ instead, he tries to lighten the mood a little as he gingerly places the quill in his roommate's hand. ]
