Is it that late?

[The gray skies and gray everything else makes it hard to tell.

But he'll kneel down and form a large ice float.]

I don't know, but sooner is better than later!

[Maybe? Well, no worries. It's interesting to watch him make the ice float, and so she hones in on that. A useful quirk, to be sure.

When he's done—or what she thinks that she's done, anyway—she gently prods it with a foot.]

Have you done this before?

[There's not even a hint of nervousness, because she trusts him! She's just curious.]

[It has sides, so it's not just a hunk of floating ice- even though when it comes down to it, that's all it is. It looks a little boat like.]

No. I've never been to the ocean before.

[Most impressive! It gets one last admiring look before she glances back at him.]

It's a first for both of us, then. Ready to go?

[She's sure that he is, so let her just hop right out onto their makeshift boat. Dang, you know what? She should have brought some of her extra blankets...]

[He follows her right in. At least his lift side means he's not freezing in here. But he'll push off of the shore so they're further out in the water.]

Let's get fishing.

[This is the future of Awash transport! Ochako looks out over the side, trying to, you know, see something in this grey water... but alas, it's all dark and gross. Hmm.]

This is amazing, Todoroki! You really did think of a great idea. [Here is a warm smile, just for him. So many positive vibes coming his way.] Did you bring any bait, though? I can use my net to try to catch little fish for you.

[And then look away as he turns them into little fish ice cubes.]

[He's barely used to this from Midoriya. And Uraraka's smile is like his times two. Shouto can easily understand how they ended up being such close friends.]

I couldn't find anything to use as bait. Net fish would be our best option.

[Always eager to help, Ochako takes that net right off her shoulder and begins unwinding it. He wants some fish? She'll give him some fish!!]

Of course! We'll be able to catch all kinds of things out here.

[She picks it up by the long string, making sure the weights aren't tangled together, before glancing back over at him.]

[He watches her for a moment before reaching out for part of the net.]
