Pity the poor step-sister those big feet she’ll never stuff in a size-six sonnet, her flesh so fulsome the slipper seems effete, unworthy of the labor spent on it.

t's yet another day in which a bunch of characters ended up in the bottom of the well. That sucks. Of course, when you get up and start heading over to see if they're getting out of the well okay... you might find that it's a lot harder than expected. Thanks to that new ball gown, or the rags you've been put in, or your new coat of fur, or the puppets, trying to drag you right into a totally different adventure. You're the one starring in a fairy tale now, and it's not an easy life to live. It's just a little distracting, probably. But don't forget the poor newbies at the bottom of the well, standing in freezing cold water (and don't worry, the puppets will go down into the well to grab you too). [Normally Mari would be aghast at trying on someone's clothes, especially someone's dirty shoes! But that is one beautiful slipper, and Pyra is being exceptionally charming today. She knows Chroma is being... well, Chroma. But maybe this isn't too bad.]

... I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

[ Oh thank goodness it's Maribelle.... is all Pyra can think. ]

If you wouldn't mind... [ She motions to one granite garden bench, its legs crafted into tiny cherubs holding up the seat. ]

... Has that garishly hideous bench always been there?

[Cause, really, yikes. Still, she'll head on over and sit.]

[ NOW IT HAS.

Pyra only chuckles, and.... kneels in front of her. There's no real elegant way to remove someone's boot or shoe or sandal or whatever Maribelle is wearing, but that's going to be happening here. ]

If this slipper fits, then you must be the princess I'm looking for.

[She's not blushing you're imagining things.]

You don't... have to be as flowery as those weird puppet-things demand you be.

[ She chuckles in return, looking up as she holds Marielle's hell with a gloved hand. ] Don't I?

I'd rather not take my chances with Chroma's... antics. [ And with her other hand, she begins to place the slipper upon Maribelle's foot.

WILL IT FIT?! ]

[it does! cue the fanfare!]

... Hm! I must admit, I'm a little surprised.

[ Pyra's eyes widen and...--yes, at last! She's found her princess!

She looks upon Maribelle as if she's is the Architect's light itself, and then quite suddenly--

More puppets are around them and-- what's that, what is that one carrying... a ring? And why is there suddenly a setting change to a chapel, what's going on?! ]

Ah.... [ That's what's going on. A wedding is going on. And they're the main participants! ]

Is this...[ Ahem. ] This must be part of the story.

[... All right the cuteness has worn off its welcome. Now this is just creepy.]

... Uh. I don't suppose running works in glass shoes.

[PANIC MODE SETTING IN</>]

Is... that what you wish to do?

[ To un? Pyra is just a little cautious given the event with the mirrors and the fallout of it.

But... she also will do as Maribelle wants. ]
