Izuku looks a bit startled himself by the abrupt change, then shakes his head with a slight smile.

"While standing the whole time?" He gestures at the table and chairs in the main area of the cottage. They're somewhat old and not in the best condition, like many of the things in this place, but they're still serviceable. "Here, why don't you take a seat? We don't know how long this'll take and I might want to ask questions, too."

That's a lie. He's definitely going to ask questions.
