[He makes a face.] Seriously, I'm not a singer. But yeah, maybe if Santa had caught on things would have changed. [He's tying his own strings and pinecones to the tree alone with some of the rocks.

Santa's not as sadistic. [Flatly. Just. Very flatly. The tree's starting to take its shape into their weird Halloween mash-up tree. Percy keeps an eye on the spider that continues to watch them closely.] But I guess in the "all-knowing all-seeing way" you could say he's a god, sure.

This Christmas tree can barely be called a "Christmas" tree, but Val doesn't know what a normal human one looks like so.]
