t's very, very cold. It's cold enough that you'll see your breath fog in the air before you, that goosebumps appear on your arms and legs and a chill goes up your spine. You're inside, in a huge palace with sweeping arches and rooms, but it's no real shelter from the cold -- it's just as cold inside as out.
There's a throne room, a kitchen, various rooms and even a dungeon to be explored -- and outside, a frigid, frozen garden, a lake that's naturally frozen over, and miles, and miles of snow as far as the eye can see.
But be careful while you explore. The snowflake soldiers are naturally dangerous, but even more dangerous than that...there's that creeping sensation of numbness going up your arm, a pang through your chest, and the slow, slow freezing from the inside out.
Try not to leave any of your friends behind, okay? Even if they might look a bit too uncannily like some of the statues hanging around for decoration when they're frozen over.

You're planning to draw their attention while I run to safety. Good plan.
[ And then he slides out from behind the pillar, calmly waving his hands at the knights and saying: ]
Hello, over here.
[ Even with a shard about to pierce through his heart, he can't help being really stupid. ]

[ THIS WAS ACTUALLY NOT HIS PLAN AT ALL good lord -- but by the time Lupin's grabbed his arm to try and stop him, it's already too late, and he's gotten their attention. Two big snowflake knights are now charging in their direction.
Well. Change of plans. He shoves the other man out of the way and towards the exit; in the next moment, he's reaching into his satchel and pulling out a small handful of somethings that he launches at the monsters. The moment they make contact with their tough exteriors, they explode - but into a colorful display of sparks and shapes rather than fire and shrapnel. Fireworks. At the very least, it's enough to throw them off for a few seconds. ]
Go!

But the fireworks are unexpected enough that they grab his attention and he stares. Wheels turn in his mind, and he plucks a couple of talismans from the qiankun pouch in his sleeve. It's a rectangular strip of paper, inscribed in blood with strange markings.
He could... use these. Instead he continues to stare silently at the man and the knights, as if what's going on in the throne room doesn't concern him at all. ]

He dashes out the door, and the two knights aren't too far behind him, waving away some of the residual smoke from his firecrackers. Ignoring them, he makes a beeline for his new friend, whom he's quick to yank up quickly by the collar. ]
This is no time for papercrafts! Come on!

Mn.
[ Yanked to his feet, he loses interest in his talismans and drops them. Although his interest is gone, habit remains. One doesn't let go of a talisman without a little flick of the wrist, to throw it. The talisman flutters into the air and sticks to the wall. One doesn't throw without infusing a talisman with one's spiritual power and setting it off. They get about halfway down the hall when the thing explodes with an almighty BANG, putting a sizable hole in one of the ice walls.
Sadly the knights weren't in the line of fire. Now they've regrouped and are marching relentlessly after them. ]

Hey! Got any more of those?
[ if he could aim it at the floor in front of the knights (or the ceiling above them, for that matter), maybe they could take them out. Lupin doesn't think he'll be able to hide from them properly with someone this ditzy around (sorry, Wei Wuxian.) ]
