t's a regular morning here in the Town. The sun isn't shining at all, snow is falling like crazy, and...there may be the sounds of shouts coming from the well, thoroughly muffled. Okay, so it's not a regular morning at all, but you'd better go help those people! The newcomers are here again. Of course, once you get to the well, you'll notice that there's actually no real help you can offer -- it's totally frozen over. As for the newcomers, well... hopefully being suddenly dumped into freezing cold water in the middle of November in a dark, damp well is your idea of a good time, because that's your life now! And that's not even taking into account the mirrors in everyone's homes that are about to wake up and start chattering... Welcome to Awash's thirteenth event log, everyone! [He looks at Minato before finishing to swallow the weed in his mouth, giving him a brief wave. Don't...don't question it too much. Yu strokes his chin, deep in thought once he's done.]

I figured they would...but right now they don't taste anything. I wonder if everything that's grey is tasteless?

[He looks a little disappointed at the outcome.]

It's got kind of a gross ashy taste, actually, if you eat enough of it.

[A beat.]

So try not to do that. It's bad, trust me.

I guess I'll have to try that out later.

[YU, NO. He squints briefly looking at Minato as if there's something about the other that seems almost familiar. Why did he have a strange sense of deja-vu?]

I'm Yu Narukami by the way. It's nice to meet you. Thanking for letting me know that I shouldn't be cooking with grey things.

But Minato just meets Yu's eyes firmly, tilting his head. There's...a similar sense of deja vu here, but it's nothing he can really pin down.]

[He pauses as if the name should be important to him. But neither Margaret nor Elizabeth had called him by name. He was the soul who slept at the end of the world. Rather, it is his own feeling of deja-vu also fllls him. Briefly he frowns but says nothing, running a hand in his hair.]

[That gets a peaceful nod out of Minato, at least. This is far from the first town tour he's given.]

Alright, let's go then. There's not a lot to see, so it shouldn't be too tough.

[There's a small smile at that comment.]

Funny, that's how I was presented Inaba last year...just a small town in the boonies. [He holds a hand to his chest, the memories having become very important to him. This town wouldn't be quite like that, but it is rather amusing to have the same type of introduction.

He'll begin to follow Minato, asking questions as they go.]

Does everyone normally wake up in the well?

[... Inaba, huh...? He's never heard of it, he thinks...]

You should be pretty used to a place like this, then. It's definitely very...small town.

Anyway, yeah, that's how we all woke up. It was a little while ago for me, but new people come in every couple of months just like that. It's... unfortunately that you guys ended up here in the middle of winter.

[Maybe if you were in the female route Minato. Maybe.]

Yeah, I noticed. Everyone seems to be working together to make it work...I'll do everything I can to help out.

[Time to take to take on 10 tasks per day and then wonder why his life is falling apart.]

It's okay. I'll just need to walk around with blankets and start some fires. [A beat.] Controlled fires.

I'm already starting to feel concerned.

Come on--come with me, okay? We have to make a quick stop. [Before a tour, blankets for Yu.]

[Stop judging him, Minato.]

Don't be, I might have a fiery personality but it's nothing dangerous.

Okay, are you going to get something in particular?

[HONESTLY...]

I'm going to go grab some blankets so you don't freeze out here. I have some extras you can borrow until you've cleaned up your own place.

[izanyagi]

[Thumbs up. This is his name now. Hot-and-Spice-san. He does appreciate the offer for something a little warmer.]

[He will follow him in silence, trying to shake off the deja-vu feeling that continues to linger.]

[Hm, he took that well and easy. Oh well...

To Minato's house! Which is green, and stands out a bit for that reason.]

Just a moment--I know I have some extra blankets in the living room.

[He has so much time on his hands here... no reason to not make blankets better and mend old ones.

So after a few moments, he reappears with two blankets in his arms, which he offers to Yu casually.]

[Why would he argue with Hot-and-Spice?!]

Alright. [He waits in silence before Minato returns and takes both of the blankets with a smile and a small bow.] Thank you so much. I guess I should go place these where I live.

[A beat.]

Is there any reason why your house is green? I haven't seen many of them like yours...

[Of course he would ask.]

[messianic]

[... Minato just shrugs casually at that, head tilted.]

It's because I'm living with someone who this town considers a yellow.

[A beat.]

I'm a blue.

[No shit sherlock.]

Oh...I didn't know it would cause something like that! It's adorable!

[He new, but also sorry, not sorry.]

I figured. But it's nice to have confirmation. I guess we should go to my house next?

[messianic]

I guess you could call it that...

[Welp.]

But yeah, let's do that. We just have to find your place. And what district you're in.

Actually...I have a feeling it's in uh...the yellow one. Blue isn't quite me and while I've worn a red outfit, it just...feels right?

[If his hunch is anything to go by anyway.]

[A shrug, and he nods.]

I could see that fitting.

Let's go see. You should have a feeling if it's right or wrong when we get there.

[Minato just looks a little puzzled.]

I was going to walk you there, but you can lead if you really want to.

[izanyagi]

No, it's fine, thank you. I'm just used to be the one leading, so it's out of habit.

[He will take a step back and let Minato lead him where they need to go.]

[messianic]

Were you captain of a sports club, or something like that?

[He has to ask, as he starts to obediently lead the way.]
