[Shiho allows herself to be urged forward, giving them both a helplessly fond smile that flashes by for half a second before she's looking back to the front again.

The mention of a horror movie does have her frowning and moving closer to Kaoru, her arm brushing against her best friend's. She hates the idea of any kind of horror movie, especially one that involved her and the people she cared about as the main characters. Just thinking about it has her tensing despite the peacefulness and because of it, she jumps when Kaoru falls, ducking forward to support her in the next moment.]

K-Kaoru-chan. [What was wrong? She reaches out to see with her psychometry.]

Akashi-san? [Izuku's at her side immediately, hands reaching out to hold her by the arm in support.

Did something happen? While Shiho's gathering information the way that she usually does, Izuku's busy scanning the trees around them for some kind of danger that he might have missed.]

[Thanks to Shiho supporting her she manages to avoid face planting but it's a near thing. Kaoru spares her best frined a quick, grateful smile before she's looking around.]

My powers stopped working. It's like there's an ECM somewhere. [But she'd be able to see one if there was, right? The ones that could cancel out her powers completely are huge!]

An ECM? Here? [Because... Shiho can feel that too, entirely in the absence of feeling anything at all. There is nothing she can see from Kaoru, and she tightens her grip a little on her best friend's shirt before turning to Izuku.]
