I am a reaper whose muscles set at sundown.
All my oats are cradled.
But I am too chilled,
and too fatigued to bind them.
And I hunger.

ou know what's probably amazing? Waking up to your previously normal front door suddenly being covered by a huge, autumn-themed wreath. Or perhaps you're close enough to the center of the Town to look out your window and get an eyeful of that effigy, staring soullessly at you?

The point is, there's a festival going on! The Town's been decorated accordingly (don't trip over sudden bales of hay), and towards the center of the Town, there are all sorts of fun games, tables of food, and other amazing things set up. Go prance onto the stage, sample some of the amazing food, convince one of your friends to play one of those bobbing for apples games...

Enjoy it! There doesn't seem to be much of a catch this time.

(At least, not until you eat the food, and then you'll figure out just what that "catch" is.)

[Oh god he's going to eat dirt with these heels on and with Uraraka suddenly tugging him. While he doesn't struggle to stay talking to the apparent third wheel now, he's also not at all steady.

And he's holding onto Uraraka.

He's going to fall.]

[Ochako is slightly better at walking in these ridiculous shoes than her inexperienced friend, but that doesn't mean anything when the person she's holding onto for dear life just, uh, tips on over. Her grip on Shouto's arm tightens as he begins to fall, but it's not like she can really do anything other than wobble in her own heels... and then follow him down with a surprised squeak. Timber!

But as she crashes down toward the ground, controlling her quirk is honestly the last thing on her mind. RIP, Shouto! Hope you enjoy sudden weightlessness...'

[At least one of them isn't eating dirt. While he doesn't really mind weightlessness. There's something to be said about having a warning before something like that happens.

The only reason he isn't floating up to the sun is because Uraraka still has a death grip on him.]

This is fine.

[At least he's not wearing a skirt.]

[Sorry, Shouto, but she definitely wasn't thinking about yelling out a warning as she, uh... fell right on her butt. Ow? Her ankles and her derrière are going to be so, so sore by the end of this whole thing, but he can probably relate with that. It's fine! They're fine.

But she needs a solid second to wince and, like, use her free hand to grab onto her lower back before she realizes that—oh, her toher hand—the hand holding onto poor Shouto's arm—is, like, still up there in the air. ...Ah. Ah.]

Todoroki-kun, I—

[She looks up at him, prepared to ignore her bruises and offer him an apologetic smile, but there's something funny about a floating Shouto? He doesn't even look that taken aback by it. P-Pfft...]

I-I'm sorry! [She has to LOOK TO THE SIDE and bite her bottom lip to keep from laughing.] I'll let you down, but... maybe it would be easier if you stayed like that? I could just p-pull you everywhere!

[Except that she, you know, needs his support to keep on a-walkin'.]

[Is this really fine. He can't believe he's floating like this. Like a balloon. A really weird, human shaped balloon.

He's even lost his stupid little hat.

Not that he misses that. But floating up here does mean he doesn't have to worry about his heels...]

You want me to be a balloon?

[Yes.]

No! I just want to help you out, that's all.

[She says, still trying not to laugh as she slowly—and awkwardly—clambers to her feet. Why are heels so hard to stand in after you've fallen? She has no clue, but she manages to stand and bend back down to grab his adorable little hat. Progress.]

Should I let you down now?

If you want to help me out, keep me as a balloon. I don't want to walk.

[He's perfectly fine with this. He at least got to wear pants. He's never been so thankful to have pants on.]

[Honestly, Ochako is a little jealous of his pants. Her skirt is, um, awfully short? Anyway, though—PFFFFFFT. She definitely has to turn to the side and spit!laugh, because a Shouto balloon is... almost more than she can handle...

But when she's back under control—well, mostly—she turns back to face him.]

Y-Your shoes are pretty bad, aren't they? Especially since you've never worn heels before... [Hoisting her boa a bit higher on her shoulders, she reaches out to snag his hand.] How many times have you fallen today? Because I've fallen a lot.

[There! They can suffer together as she begins to oh-so carefully walk forward. All while he gently bobs in the air...]

[Shouto, being lazy has never looked this ridiculous. He'll just float here patiently as Uraraka controls her laughter. It's fine, honestly. It's really ridiculous, after all.]

I can't remember. I stopped counting after four.

You have trouble with this too? [Then again it's not like any of them have high heel practice. It's not like they walk around in Midnight's boots.]

[Laughing at him to his face is surely a sign of how close they've gotten. She'll think about this later and smile, but for now... yeah, she's grimacing, because HEELS!!]

A little? I mean, I've worn heels before, but I've never worn heels that were this tall. And the roads here are so uneven...

[Roads? Sidewalks? Dirt paths? Everything she's walked on has been rocky as hell. Case in point: these cobblestones she's slowly picking her way over.]

Maybe I'll just ask Okuyasu to carry me everywhere! And you can ask Deku-kun to carry you everywhere.

[She's half-joking, but honestly, it sounds pretty appealing! She just hasn't seen Deku's, um, interesting costume yet. RIP, you sweet, sweet boy.]

[HEELS!! What an awful footwear decision. He misses his boots so much.

Wait...

Wait just a minute.]

Uraraka, you're so smart. Izuku's so strong. I bet he'd do it.

[Never mind the... the bunny costume.]

[Listen, Ochako also thinks this is an A+ idea, but—um? She can't help but to blink back at him in surprise.]

You think so? [About her being SO SMART, of course. But... yeah, okay. She just has to smile at this.] But Deku-kun will totally carry you if you ask! He can give you a piggyback ride!

[Or should he cradle Shouto in his arms, princess style? That's what she's imagining, and it's cute... until her imagination runs wild and she pictures Shouto dressed in a full-on princes gown. PFFFFFFFFT.]

Yeah, I wouldn't have thought about it. [Because sometimes Shouto just... doesn't... think... Oops.]

A piggyback ride sounds nice. But floating's good too.

[His feet don't hurt if he's straight up not using them.]

[P-Pfft. She grins back at him, and if it's a slightly shaky grin because she's trying not to laugh again... well, sue her. Shouto is unintentionally hilarious.]

Yeah? I'm glad! [She gives his arm a gentle tug, drawing him a liiiiittle closer to the ground. No need to float up into the sky!!] If you want, you can stay like this until we find Deku-kun. I don't mind pulling you around! It's good practice.

[And she can probably—no, definitely handle heels better than he can. It's a small sacrifice to make for her friend.]

Practice for floating people around?

[Though honestly Shouto's enjoying his floaty excursion. 10/10, would do this again.]
