he day is normal. It's a bit chillier than it's been, the nip of fall in the air, but as the new people in the Town settle in... things have gotten peaceful. And yet. When everyone goes out to greet their neighbors, to hug their friends, to shake hands or make eye contact or who knows what -- they'll realize very, very quickly that nothing about today is normal at all, actually. [He's pretty much fine - you know, except for days like this, where just sitting at home minding his own business is honestly making him crazy - but there's nothing like losing a housemate overnight to remind a person quite strongly that they've never actually, really been on their own...

So, hmm, he shrugs.]

I suppose I'll find out. Besides the past few days, it hasn't been entirely terrible.

[All Might, on the other hand, is used to living alone. His poor housemate and his weak shadow makes it feel like he almost does live alone half the time, even now -- even if he feels a bit guilty about it every time he overlooks Ari's presence.]

Oh- thank you. [Genuine thanks, he appreciates that— maybe he'll turn up for a visit when his house drives him crazy again.

A pause.]

Now you're so eager to offer me company. [ha haaa he's got your number, old man.]

[A quiet chuckle.] You did ask, didn't you? It's the least I can do, for someone in need.

[Imagining Reim left alone with his thoughts is something of a sad mental image, so he couldn't possibly have turned him down.]

[Hmm, "in need" makes him sound so... He's not hopeless, he swears.]

Well, I'm grateful. You said you had someone living with you...?

Yes! Young Ari.

[He seems to brighten considerably, at that.] Perhaps you've met him? He's a very kind boy.

Oh! Yes, I have. [They had an unspeakably terrible adventure with bees, once upon a time. It's shrouded in mystery and fear.]

He's quite helpful, although I wonder if he pushes his limits too much...

[bee trauma. evil shadow thing?? what's happening with that boy.]

[Toshinori heard about the evil shadow thing, although he doesn't know anything about the mysterious bee incident.]

That sounds like someone else I know. I'll keep an eye on him, if that's the case.

I'll do what I can, as well— he is an agreeable young man, so that much should be easy. Not everyone here is as... open to suggestions.

[AWKWARD LAUGHTER, Toshinori is absolutely not one of those more stubborn sorts!!! Hopefully he won't find cause to make Reim worry like that any time soon.]

We were assigned a house together to begin with, but I decided to stay because I was concerned about Ari. Like you said, as long as he has people looking out for him, I think he'll be okay.
