Event Eleven.

he day is normal. It's a bit chillier than it's been, the nip of fall in the air, but as the new people in the Town settle in... things have gotten peaceful.

And yet. When everyone goes out to greet their neighbors, to hug their friends, to shake hands or make eye contact or who knows what -- they'll realize very, very quickly that nothing about today is normal at all, actually.

Hopefully nobody minds a little extra sharing today.

... How would you describe her? Yourself, I mean?

[He's curious to hear more about her in Val's own words!]

Foolish. [For continuing to help both sides during a war.] Kindhearted. [She pitied him, after all.] Pure. [For not regretting anything she did.] Lion hearted. [She really stuck to what she believed in. Not every human could say that.]

I see...

[It makes him smile to himself, at least, as he brings his breakfast over to the table and takes a seat with Val.]

I think she'd be happy. I mean... I didn't know her, of course. But from that description... I think she'd be really happy you've stuck to your promise for so long.

You never know who could emerge from that well. [Though part of him is forever hoping she doesn't. Just because he's said these things to people who aren't her doesn't mean he could handle them saying them to her.]

I want to always remain a proud and noble demon. That means I'm bound to my word, whatever it happens to be.

[And...strangely pressing, relevance-wise, to what he's been thinking about.]

If she did show up here...what would you do?

I'd fulfill my promise, of course. I'll bring her to the depths of fear.

I owe it to our promise to try.

... Don't you think she'd be happier to just have a proper conversation with you instead, if she got to see you again?

She had a pure heart. It's rare but people like that can become angels. That's what she became.

... The archangel had her collecting HL [ "Hell" ] from the Netherworld. Our paths crossed.

Yes. She was trying to rob the Netherworld as a prinny. Her prinny impression is terrible.

Of course I did! I'm a Prinny Instructor. I can recognize an awkwardly placed "dood" anywhere! She clearly wasn't a real prinny.

There are prinnies in Celestia! She knows what prinnies sound like! Why was her impression so terrible!?

Of course I am! She could've hidden those tiny wings so easily! It would've been simple to pretend she was any other kind of demon!

That's not what happened. She had no idea who I was! [Then again Val couldn't recognize her either.] She was just there to rob the Netherworld!
