t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. vampires will be vampires, of course, and even if she isn’t afflicted with the same emotionless state of being that he is, she understands that they all tend to cope a little differently from others.

[ Threatening a person means effort, and the action of holding her wrist alone is enough. ]

The humans here are naive and ridiculously friendly, though... so I'm just saying that turning any of them would probably do more harm than good.

I only turn people I want to keep around into vampires. So far, no one has impressed me.

[ really, though, she doesn’t want to spread the curse anymore. she’s tired, and she’s sure loneliness will catch up with her in the future, but for now—she pulls her hand back. ]

Don’t worry about me.

[ He brings his hand back to his side, giving a skeptical look before it neutralizes out. There's no reason to put his trust in her, but there's also no proof for him to remain suspicious -- and it's not like whether or not sure turns someone would be his problem. ]

Alright~ But I'll let you know now that there's a guy here who likes to babysit our kind, so you'll need to be careful with what you do unless you want him going after you. [ A pause. ] Or make me do it.

[regrede]

Oh, I don’t think you or he can kill me.

[ a highly pleasant smile, but the fact is that while he may best her in battle, unless he knows how to banish her very body from this world, she’s not going anywhere. ]

I do have a question for you, though. Do you need to drink the blood of humans to survive?
