Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. ... Where do I even begin with that?

[ Can she just ask for the entire rundown on this entire situation she's now found herself in? ]

[Yeah, she gets it. This whole situation is pretty crazy.] Well, I think that depends on what you know. Did you read the stuff on the board?

[The one she...dragged you away from.]

Not much of it.

[ Yeah, she was dragged away before she could read much. ]

Where am I, I guess, is the first question?

[...oops. That was her fault, wasn't it? She looks a bit sheepish.]

We call this place Chroma, but we're not actually sure where this or what this place is.

[ It's okay! She was likely not going to learn too much on her own anyway. The board is helpful, but talking to someone who's been here for a while is probably better.

A smile crosses her face at the sheepish expression on the other girl, trying to let her know that she didn't hold it against her. ]

Oh ... That's ... Definitely not where I was last I remember.

[Well since no one was telling her she did something wrong she'll just respond to that smile with a wide one of her own.]

Me neither. We're actually all in an entirely different world right now.

[ It would not be the first time she was in a completely different world from her own. In fact, she was just coming back from a different world when she landed here. ]

Do you have any idea how any of us got here?

[ Does anyone actually know how they got anywhere? She's still not sure what happened that brought her and her friends to Gardenia, even. ]

Nothing concrete! We're all just guessing at this point but it might have something to do with a rainbow chicken.

.... Rainbow chicken?

[ WHAT. ]

You'll have to explain to me how that came about.

It's on the quest forum. When you find your house there will be a laptop there and you can read it for yourself.

But it's basically a story of a guy who wants to woo his love and he needed to find a rainbow chicken in the forest to do it.

... Laptop?

I-I guess the story sounds interesting, but I have no idea what this laptop thing is.

You'll find it in one of the houses! it lets you contact other people. It even has a drawing program.
