t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. That sounds kind of like a ploy, but... [And here she pauses and smiles brightly and innocently:] Since I'm so kind, I guess I could.

I would not be so foolish as to scheme before a fairy. [ Or scheme at all, because in some ways, he’s actually very pure.

Which is why he’s actually pretty weak to the schemers, especially the female ones…oops. ]

But I desire her name, perhaps, and the sweetness of her voice, that I may grant her wish in turn.

We'll see about that. [Because she can be ruthless if need be. (Though she's also a huge softie even if she'd never admit to it.)]

I'm Shiho. Shiho Sannomiya. And you are? [Because she's not giving out her name without getting a name in return first. Then they'll talk about singing.]

Archer. [ Sorry he can’t…give out his True Name. Crazy canon shit and all that jazz. ] It is a pleasure, Miss Shiho.

I'm sure it is. [But she does give him a long look. At least Archer is a recognizably human name? And it isn't worse than Hyoubu calling himself the Black Fallen Angel.

She'll accept it for now. And with that she starts to sing softly.]

[ He gives her a long…look??? back as she begins singing, listening with rapt attention and even humming along by the end of the little tune. He waits till the end of the song before remarking: ]

Lovely. Simply lovely. I’m sure I can recreate such a piece on my fair instrument. [ Hell, he even plucks out the song’s refrain on his harp, just to test out the sound of it. ]

[Shiho’s still smiling once she finishes singing, not embarrassed in the least. (Please be more embarrassed, Shiho, and stop making references to your own anime)]

That’s actually pretty good. [Which is glowing praise coming from her as she watches his fingers play over the harp.]
