Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! | |
t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

It's not really common where I'm from either, so-- I don't meet a whole lot of people familiar with spirits in general. Kind of a nice change, honestly? Even with--

What were the spirits you could talk to like, though? I don't think I really knew many living ones.

The spirits I know are of the forest. They were born from the life of the wild and age very slowly, much like any tree would. Most all are childlike as a result. [ oh but now that she's talking about it: ] Actually one of them made it to this realm with me on accident. Perhaps another time I can introduce you!

They sound fascinating-- I think most entities like that back home either died out or managed to hide themselves pretty well from humans. Can't say I blame them for it, either.

[ the koroks, fairies, they're all shy and recluse from normal society. it isn't impossible to meet one, but they keep to themselves for their own peace of mind. ]
I'm not certain what sort of spirits rest in this realm, but I am certain they lurk here as well. I can't be of much help though, having never seen any.

[Absolutely zero concept of stranger danger, offering that to someone he's just met-- but she seems nice and says she speaks with spirits, he really doubts it's a bad idea.]

I don't really have anything going for me besides the whole extra sense, but I'm sure we could make it work. There's always running for it if things go too wrong.
