t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. I showed up about four months ago. Give or take a few weeks.

I'm pretty sure we dealt with Setne and all that just a matter of weeks ago. Definitely not four months.

[Suddenly, that well seems a lot more threatening than it did before. She glances at it - or rather, glares.]

Don't tell me some god is messing around with us again.

It's been a while since we've seen you and Carter. [Throwing that out there at least.] It was January last I remember and then I showed up in the well. If it is a god, it's nobody I've been able to talk to or get information about.

Huh... what a pain.

[Maybe the well is a rogue god!! ...wouldn't be the first time something like that has turned out to be sentient. Probably won't be the last.]

At least we're both here. It's better than being stuck here alone.

Tell me about it. [To both of those things.] And who knows? Other people might show up again in another couple of months. That seems to happen.

Definitely not. [There's a grin. This is why he and Sadie are similar.] But I've been working on some leads here and checking things out in the ocean. We're getting some answers but if we keep exploring we might get more.
