Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Damn. Figures.

[A huff ruffles a few drier strands of bangs, mildly perturbed that he couldn't be dragged there after he'd woken up for the day. If his braid got wet it was easy enough to fix. This mess was much harder to tame.]

I can look in to that, I guess. Still gotta deal with brushing this but eh, I'm nothing if not resourceful.

[He just needs to get to know the area and what's available first.]

[ They wave a hand dismissively, as if trying to wave off the notion that this is too much of a bother. It's pretty routine to help out the new arrivals, after all. ]

It's fine. It's to be expected considering you just got here... I spend a lot of time in the library, so you can follow me.

[ After a beat, they take the first few steps in the correct direction, beckoning him along. ]

I'm assuming you must have already found your place to stay and all that, if you're worried about your hair?

Yeah, but I couldn't find anything helpful for this in there. Did find the laptop, but I'll poke at that later. ... probably gonna have to look for something more to wear than just this, too.

[He did say he was just woken up. Boxers and a tank top aren't the warmest things to wear, especially after being soaking wet.]

I'm just warning you, most of the residents here don't tend to like the scavengeable clothing. It's not exactly... functional.
