t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. That's a very weird name. Kisa's squinting at him as though she's trying to piece together whether it's his real name or not. ]

[... Not quite the reaction he was expecting, but he can handle a tough crowd. He clears his throat and tries again, this time with a cool hero pose, hands on his hips.]

I am All Might, a pro hero and the Symbol of Peace! If any villains lurk here, they will be brought to justice!

Well, now she looks a little more properly awed. If still a bit confused, but! A hero! She's never met an actual hero before!

Should she bow? She's going to bow. Thank you for saving her, then! ]

[He chuckles even as she bows. Such a polite girl...!]

But that's enough about me. What's your name, young miss? [He's been considerate of the fact she doesn't want to (or can't) talk so far, but at least a name would be helpful. He even lowers his voice a notch, as if speaking more gently might encourage her.]

[ ... Ah. It doesn't encourage her, sadly, but that's because she can't really answer what he's asking of her. Not at any volume, anyway, though she does slowly open her mouth.

Aaaaand mouth her name.

Sorry, All Might. ]

What was that? ["Risa"? It's hard to lipread, so he crouches down and offers his ear, so she can whisper it if she really wants to. Though if that doesn't work, maybe he can find something she can write with...]

[ ... Well, then. She's just going to carefully glance around, find the counter (and it's definitely dusty enough) and rise up on her toes just enough to draw the characters of her name into the dust.

Will... that help? ]

[He straightens up to his full height, watching her draw her name.]

Ah! Kisa! It's a pleasure to meet you! [Even if he is getting more and more concerned for her wellbeing the more he learns about her and the town both. Not to mention his own time limit on this form, which he knows is slowly creeping up on him.]

Perhaps I should have asked this sooner, but do you know sign language?

[He doesn't himself, but if he could find someone who did, that might make things a lot easier for her.]

[ She frowns now, slightly, and shakes her head. Yeah, normally talking has never really been a problem.

Which she can't say, now can she? ]

Ah, don't worry, don't worry! I was just wondering.

[He wonders if her parents never thought to help her learn it, or perhaps her muteness is a recent thing... Well, either way, speculation won't get him anywhere. Perhaps they can figure out an easier way for her to communicate later. For now...]
