t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. No way, that's like the whole point of a handkerchief.

[Hunk laughs and digs in his pocket until he finds it... it's quite lacy. No judgement, OK, he just took what he found. He offers it back after glancing over his shoulder again.]

You just give it a wash and it's a-OK again.

[oomfies]

[ It won't get any judgement, because Lottie has enough sense to label it cute. At least if she has it on her person it won't clash with her outfit or anything.. She's much closer, shoes making the absolute worst sound, as she closes the distance and takes the handkerchief. ]

How can I get in contact with you? You know, when I clean it?

[ She plays with the lace edge of it meanwhile, a hand moving to shield her nose from his view. ]

Oh, everybody's got, like. Their own laptops. You should have one too, in whatever house is gonna be yours.

They aren't great laptops, but there's a forum where we can chat to each other. Way better than just roaming around looking.

[Though he does the roaming thing now and again. Nothing wrong with it.]

[ Lottie is about to say obviously, she didn't even leave her own home without her laptop, right up until he mentions a house. Ugh, that's right. That stupid, stupid letter she found..

Lottie manages to stop her face from souring long enough to come up with a response. ]

Okay.. What's your username then?

It's a little long, but uh--

[He wrinkles up his nose some before he just helplessly rattles it off:] F-F-E nine hundred. It's a hex code, 'cause we're all assigned colours and those are our usernames.

[oomfies]

[ Well, she knows what a hex code is (thankfully). And it definitely is long (long enough for her not to remember.....sorry). There's just one thing though, she feels out of the loop. Especially since she has no idea what hers is. ]

Wait, so what color are you, then? Should I know what mine is by now??

[atomicals]

Yellow!

[Gives a thumbs-up.] Which wasn't a surprise for me, considering I was yellow themed back home. Kind of.

You'll be able to find out once you find your place, though. Like. If you wind up in a particular district you can usually make a guess at your colour from there: red, blue or yellow.
