Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! | |
t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

Midoriya told me that you just arrived. [And given that All Might doesn't look all that surprised to see him he can assume that his student has at least informed him of the basics.] I'm guessing you've already gotten a thorough introduction of this place?
[Even if Midoriya wasn't the first one to cross paths with All Might, Chroma's temporary inhabitants seem more than happy to fill newcomers in on the ins and outs of their current prison, which is great since Aizawa doesn't really care for infodumping.]

[Which means he feels like he still doesn't really know anything at all, but at least everyone is in the same boat.]
How have you and the students been doing? I heard there aren't any villains in this place, but... [There are other, more fantastical threats, which is enough to have kept him worrying.]

[It's frustrating, but they can't seem to make any sort of budge when it comes to gaining knowledge on their own terms.]
But we're alive. [Aizawa shrugs.] You're right about there being no 'villains' per se, but we've faced plenty of opposition. To be honest, I feel like all we're doing is waiting for the next big 'thing' to pop up, and there doesn't seem to be some kind of pattern these events occur except for how often people show up in the well.

[Somewhat ironic, that he'd fought for a society where villains feared to commit wrongdoing and everyone could live peacefully, only to get yanked to a town where there aren't villains, but... this.]
Well, I'm still learning about how things work here, but I signed up to the defence force. I'll keep the town safe, while still keeping an eye on how our students are doing.

When All Might mentions the defense force Aizawa snorts again.]
Figures Guren would get to you. [The man has more energy than most despite his seemingly
aloof personality, but Aizawa appreciates his efforts nonetheless.] The defense force is a good start and everyone in Chroma as a whole seems to be both cooperative and proactive. The fact that we're all on the same page here is at least one less thing to worry about.

[It's strange to be somewhere he isn't needed or recognised, and perhaps that shows in the lingering uncertainty in his expression. But he has to get used to that strangeness here, just like anyone else. And, after all, people working together and cooperating instead of depending on one person is surely a good thing.]
What about our students' training? I'm sure you haven't let them fall behind even under the circumstances, Aizawa-kun.

[While Aizawa is never one for sunny dispositions, his expression becomes more pinched at the answer he provides. On one hand, All Might would be correct to assume such under most circumstances, and despite his seemingly aloof personality he's far more diligent than he appears. However, Chroma makes things... difficult.]
You've already been given an introduction on how strangely things behave here in Chroma. Unfortunately, one of those 'things' is time, and another is... memories.
[Aizawa pauses as he works to choose his words carefully before continuing.]
Iida Tenya and Yaoyaorozu Momo were previously here and left months before</> my own arrival, and yet neither of them mentioned anything about this.
