t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [ She walks at a leisurely pace, letting the kid catch up to her so they can hold an actual conversation rather than talk at each other from a distance. She smiles at his explanation. ]

I don't have a lot of experience here, but that sure sounds like family to me.

I wasn't aware the two of you had a history. I'm sure Guren's was... well, I don't know if he'd be happy or upset to see someone from home, actually. I imagine it's got to be a little of both. It gets lonely here, but... no one would actually want their friends or family to be trapped here with them.

We're definitely family. Guren's been here for me since. . ( since he was twelve years old, angry and mentally exhausted after seeing his whole family of before die. after all the bullshit with his birth parents. guren hasn't always been present, but he was there when yuu needed him most. and it means more to him than yuu could ever put into words. ) since forever.

Me being here makes things harder but I'm sure he's not upset about it.

( because they'll figure it out. regardless of yuu's weird demony/seraph stuff. )

I'm strong, so I'm useful.

Between all the restoration efforts and the weirdness that happens around here, I'm sure we could always use a few more strapping, young lads.

[ And there might be a hint of sarcasm there, but that's just Selina, always hard to impress and generally exhausted by men. The kid's practically a fetus, though, so she's willing to cut him some slack here. ]

I sure hope you like farming.

( it's fine, he doesn't notice any sarcasm (or doesn't care, either way) and offers her another smile instead, raising a hand up to run fingers through his hair. )

Haha, I don't know how to farm! But I bet I could figure it out. ( he can't, he'll kill any plant he's left in charge of. ) But I can fight monsters pretty easy.
