t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. In that case, I'll never be setting foot in there. [He says it automatically and without any apparent shame; screw fighting, he doesn't need that, ever. But it's with a pang of disappointment that he looks away from the line of trees to Percy annnd the meat.]

I've got an extra mouth to feed. [That seems to be his only explanation though.] If you go in with a group or you stick close to the edge the woods aren't too bad. It's only when you go in really far that things get weird.

An... I see. Alright. [You know, maybe he really shouldn't ask. That seems alright; vaguely-defined mouths are a nice, nebulous kind of terror he can casually ignore.]

And for you, "weird" means what, exactly?

A forest with a mind of its own? Last time I went in there I lost some of my senses until I got myself back out. People can get turned around out there, too, if it doesn't want us in there.
