Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [Even if the woods are creepy, Percy's lingering around the edges, too. It's why he hears the question and he turns to give the other man his full attention for the time being.]

That place seems to have a mind of its own. Plus it's full of monsters. And my dog. [One of these things probably isn't like the other.] Every time we head in there for any reason it doesn't approve of people get turned around and lost sometimes.

[ wait, what— ]

Your dog? [ he needs to repeat that to make sure that he heard it correctly ok. ] The forest is full of monsters and your dog, did I hear that right?

[hydrokinetics]

Yeah. [This is 100% normal.] The forest is probably the only place she'll really fit, but sometimes she'll hang out by the harbor. We've explored together though.

[heirworthy]

[ maybe he shouldn't judge. maybe that dog is similar to vajra's dog and is as big as a person. that would make sense. ]

I see. And your dog is not affected by whatever's in the forest?

[ he's heard things about it so. ]

[hydrokinetics]

I think she feels at home. [This dog is maybe a weird dog.] Monsters are kind of a normal thing where we're from, and it's just dark enough for her to travel wherever she wants. She knows how to stay out of people's way and she hasn't disappeared yet so I've been asking her to scout the area and see if she can find any other clues.

I ... see.

[ he's starting to wonder what kind of dog it is. like his world has monsters too, and quite a normal thing as well. but he can't really say if any creature feels at home surrounded by them. ]

Has she found any clues so far?

[To be fair, Mrs. O'Leary is also technically a monster but whatever.]

Not yet. Like I said, the forest doesn't seem to want to approve of stuff so none of us have had any luck so far. We've started checking out places like the sea, too, but the surrounding areas of Chroma are still a mystery to us. Like they change every single time.
