Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter." | |
Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! |

Stay exactly as you are.
[Without any further ado, he leaps from her shoulders to land in the water behind her... but there's a sudden flash of light, a whiff of something metallic, and the sudden splash is, uh, definitely larger than it should be for a cat of his size? Curious!]
Now you may turn about, girl. [A sniff, as though he can't really believe he's about to say this, before:] And you may also climb onto my back, although do take care to remember your prior promise.
[Well, he sounds exactly the same! When Kisa turns around, however, she will see... a lion-sized version of Mogget calmly staring back at her, half-expecting to see her, like, tumble backwards into the water. Surprise!]

Because she's too close to the well wall, thankfully, so it halts her backwards process. A small blessing.
But what...
Kisa continues to stare for a few seconds, but decides following his instructions would be better than backing out now, so she'll carefully make her way towards him and clamber onto his back.
As promised, without tight clutching. ]

You'll have to hold tighter than that. Be sure to stay low. [A pause as he considers something, and then:] And keep your eyes closed, as well. You humans do love to panic.
[He takes a few quick steps forward, just to show her that this isn't exactly the smoothest form of transportation, but when he trusts that she's as secure as she'll ever be—it's time for magical cat parkour! Which, you know, wouldn't be possible for a normal lion-sized cat, but jumping from wall to wall is incredibly easy—and incredibly quick!—when you can use magic for an extra boost. It's all over in a flash!
So... dry land. Mogget has never appreciated it more than he does now, but before he can take a proper look around, he knows that he has this tiny human to deal with. Instead of dumping her off, he glances back at her as he (gently) rolls his shoulders back. Off!]

Especially because she's still getting her bearings, going from inside the well to inside the well on a giant cat, to tightening her grip as he ricochets off the inside of the well and out of it. When he rolls his shoulders back, she releases her grip on his fur and slides unceremoniously off.
... And then bows? Thank you??? ]

You are welcome. [He says this somewhat stiffly, because he's not used to humans thanking him for anything? Wild. And this would be totally fine if he didn't immediately follow it up with:] When I see you again, you may repay me by finding something for me to eat. A fish is preferred, but I will never say no to a songbird.
[Is he serious? Is he joking? Hard to tell! But this is his (rude) way of saying that while he isn't nice enough to invite her along with him, he'll probably check in on her when she's settled the heck in. He has a feeling... that she'll be here for a while. Him, too.]
For the time being, you should remain near the well and look for a familiar face... or a particularly kind one? I suppose any helpful person shall do.

... And apparently figure out where she's going to find a fish for him. But she nods once, obediently.
Mogget may never find a child this well-behaved ever again. ]
