t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [ Is the explanation they'll offer for the sudden surprise, although their desire to ask more questions is far from sated. But for the sake of Reim's oozing face, they'll save the interrogation for a better time.

You must be extraordinary too, though! I've heard animals can die, but you're still alive even though you're all torn up. I'm really impressed.

[Legends... Reim doesn't feel very legendary, oozing from the face and aching all over as he is, but he'll take it. It could be worse. He manages a feeble half-smile, trying his best to look like he's not in a great deal of pain.

Legendary, you know.]

Yes, we humans are... robust. Some more than others.

For an ancient species, you don't seem too different from gems.

[ Which is both cool and unsettling at the same time from Phos' perspective, though they offer Reim a smile in return. And then gently turn away from that topic of conversation, super smooth. ]

Do any of these buildings look like they'd have glu-- bandages in them? I mean, do they look like human infirmaries?

[Ancient species... Reim hums vaguely, not sure how to convey that, assuming "gems" means, as it seems, "totally literally rocks that speak and move around," he can't think of too many things more different from human beings...

Well, they're both people-shaped, so that's good enough. He takes a moment to pat at his face with his handkerchief to check up on his oozing.]

Actually, they look like nothing in particular... I suppose the... cleanest building would be our best bet.

Our infirmary was also super clean, but..

[ None of these buildings are really all that clean. none of them.

In fact, Phos is kind of perturbed by the state of this place and how dilapidated it seems in general. It's concerning, quite frankly, and they toss Reim another unsure look from the corner of their vision. ]

Will you die if we don't find them? Should we look in each building?

[Please, Reim can only have so many crises at once. He's purposely focusing on how much he's oozing so as not to have a fit about all the dirt and dust and general disrepair of the town. It's a struggle...

He considers his handkerchief.]

Ah-- it isn't that severe. I won't die this easily. [He's a Tenacious Human Being, after all!! Hahaha he coughs, embarrassed, and looks at the nearest building.]
