Event Ten.

Little Willie, mean as hell,
Pushed his sister in a well.
Mother said, while drawing water,
"My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

(And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!)

What now?

Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here!

Meanwhile, the current characters have some new gifts.

If there are any questions, please ask them here, and have fun! Thank you!

Picked it up, hm. [ hm, he put him down as a waiter but now he's not so sure. ] I guess your work's quite a handful if you've had to expand your skills more than once. I hope you're able to rest here, as much as you can.

I think after a while of living here, surviving takes priority more than comfort. The threat of being attacked is quite common.

I'm trying to build a farm. If you're bored and you've got nothing to do, my name is Giorno.

[ He laughs, though it's soft and pleasant ]

Oh, I very much doubt it... Truth be told, I really am not one for rest! As may be evident by getting to work so quickly.

[ Sebastian gestures to his work in progress generally, but Giorno's own project definitely catches his interest too. ]

I admit, my green thumb lies more in gardening than farming, but if you need assistance, it would be my pleasure to help.

Oh, but having a green thumb is also welcome in town - we always need help feeding people. If you can cook, that's already pretty impressive.

A word of warning, though - anything that hasn't had its color restored won't taste like how it should. [ a tilt of the head. ] And the way colors get restored here seem to be at random, though it does depend on certain conditions mostly set by whatever quests we have available.
cutlery: please do not take! (be the last person to suffocate)

Oh, yes, absolutely. If you will forgive me for a little boasting, I am quite a good cook. Even with paltry ingredients, I have managed quite delicious meals.

[ He laughs a little, even turning a bit playful in his thoughtfulness ]

Why, the problem of these colors adds an interesting challenge... I cannot promise excellence without investigating more, but I must say, you have thoroughly convinced me to try.

Oh? Then your housemates are going to be quite lucky. I'm jealous.

Quests are ridiculous and boring, but in a quiet town such as this, there's really not much else to do beyond bothering each other. [ rather thoughtfully, ] Even the most vicious creatures play nicely with the humans here.

It's a rather optimistic way of living, but it's not bad. [ just boring, giorno would've added, though he withholds that; he's spoken enough anyway. ]
