Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter." | |
Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! |

There's a couple other things she sees too - laundry? Going to peruse the internet on their own?? ]
Alright.. So where do you live then? Is it the one with the little houses?
no subject
It's called "Flavo". [ That's their way of affirming for her. ] I'm actually moving my things from one house to another as of right now...
[ They give a pointed glance towards that laptop she's still fiddling with. ]
What did the house you found that in look like?
no subject
Yeah, that's the one. [ Flavo. She made a point to not say the name only because she doesn't want to commit it to memory. ] It's a little cottage - pretty basic. Just like everyone else's. [ She's totally not going to mention the poster she put up of herself on the window of the cottage, since that's completely irrelevant. ]
Why are you moving?
no subject
[ That's just the facts. Lottie may recognize that the unusual paleness of their skin and the sparkly-ness of their hair may give an Important Hint to this other person's identity, even if she's unaware that they're living rocks. There's a sigh, like they're annoyed but not annoyed at her specifically, while they readjust their hold on their belongings. ]
Anyway, I don't know much about those computers, but you should at least find where you're supposed to be using it. I've been living in Flavo since half a year ago, so I know my around.
[ AKA, they can help her figure out where this damn computer turns on. ]
no subject
Oh.. Sure. [ Lottie gathers up her things - her phone and her laptop - to move up and next to them so she can get ready to start following. ] If I knew it only worked at that house, I probably would've never left.
[ Leave it to Lottie to be predictable in her habits of being a homebody. ]
Hey, are you one of the people from the first group who got here?
no subject
So you've already heard about people coming in waves here... [ That saves them a lot of metaphorical breath. The pair make their way out of the desolate lines of stores, following the path closer to the residential area. ] I woke up here in that well with the first group, yes. Back then, there was no color here at all.
[ On the horizon are a littering of Flavo cottages that have since then been restored, pops of bright yellow against the grayscale round them. ]
Since that first group, new people have been coming every other month or so. Though the amount of people that come is not very consistent.
[ They offer the information to her easily, though they do give her a look that seems to hint that they're expecting some information in return, specifically about that "not very consistent number" of arrivals. how many damn people were in the well lottie ]

Yeah, I noticed. [ Kinda hard not to? Lottie takes a quick glance at the sky, almost confirming that what she sees is real before tossing her gaze back at their direction. Lottie at least thought doing super cool spy levels of info exchange would be more... thrilling. Now? She's just disappointed. And it shows through the flippant tone of her voice. ]
It was kinda cramped in there. [ Is the most she can give in exchange for the info she already knows. ] I honestly? Got out of there as quick as I could, so I didn't do an exact headcount.

Right. Are you one of those humans with powers? Or did someone help you out.
[ They're not one to judge, but it seems that most normie humans aren't able to climb out of the well on their own, unless they have a specific skill for climbing. Maybe she's stronger than she looks, they don't know. ]
