Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hopefully they can get a hand out! For more information, please go here! | |
t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well.

[He says her name in a strange combination of both awe and fight, like a ghost that has come alive in front of him. It makes perfect sense now, and without thinking he briefly kneels in front of her, hand on his stomach.]

[ she waves, trying to motion him to get up. oh gods she hopes no one sees them. only a handful of people even know her royal status and she wasn't expecting this sort of reaction! ]

[He would apologize if he knew, but it had been as if he was taken back to his childhood once more. It felt...well right to do so, but he quickly stood up at her words. Then he laughs, looking incredibly pleased.]

No. I'm the only one from Hyrule that I am aware of, up until this moment anyway. [ no else is a hylian, or a zora, and so on. ] Most of the people in this town are a race called humans. They seem similar to Hylians, though notably their ears are all around.
[ it's still so bizarre to her, sometimes she wonders if their hearing is impaired as a result of the biological difference. but she's not going to just go up and ask that. ]
...I hope you can forgive my earlier rudeness. I wasn't expecting to see you, and I was caught off-guard. Link and I were planning to go to Zora's Domain to see your father. You coming here now feels like fate in delay.

Interesting. I've been told that people can come from different points in time from their realms, but if Link had only just freed the Divine Beast... well, that means I'm a bit of ways ahead of you.
When I came here, it was just a few days after vanquishing Calamity Ganon from Hyrule Castle. [ she smiles, bright and a little relieved to just say that to someone who understands the impact of it. ] Rest assured, the kingdom is safe now. Your sister would be proud to know you played a role in it.

It doesn't hurt to try, but I guess the roofs must be very low for you. Humans are only slightly taller than Hylians.
[ but even then, sidon is fall taller than other adult zoras. from a scientific perspective, it must be the royal blood of his father and ancestors. ]
