Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [ Does she believe him? It's hard to say, but right now, it's better than being alone.

So she'll just tentatively reach out and curl her fingers into the hem of his shirt. Hi. ]

( oh shit. the flush to his cheeks is near-immediate, embarrassment pretty evident on his face but.

he'll get over it. it's been a while since a little kid has clung onto him like this. )

So, uh. Do you know where you live yet?

[stripedown]

[ ... She has no clue, and she can multitask enough to shake her head while still delicately latched to his shirt.

Enjoy your new tiger attachment, buddy. ]

It shouldn't be too hard to find.

( he says, after going through numerous houses to find his own. )

If you close your eyes and look for it with your heart, it'll tell you which way to go.

[stripedown]

[ ... Yuu, you're a great person and all, but even Kisa has to pause and stare at him as though she's not entirely sure that's going to work. ]

[culpa]

( don't stare at him like this, kisa. he stares back for a moment, before lifting shoulders in a shrug. )

I know it sounds weird, but it worked for me.

[stripedown]

[ It definitely sounds weird??

But she'll... nod? More like she's trying to placate him, but that counts, right? ]

[culpa]

( still counts, he'll accept that. and nod back, smiling wide. )

Do you want to try finding it?

[stripedown]

[ She's not sure letting her heart be her guide is that great of an idea.

But sure. Why not.

Her next nod is about 8% firmer. ]

[culpa]

( it's fine, kisa. totally fine. they've got this. and yuu gives a brief nod of his head, comes to a complete stop and--

waits for her to do her thing. )

I'll follow you.

[stripedown]

[ She's never been followed? That's putting her in a tight spot, Yuu!!

But Kisa... will try, at least, closing her eyes and trying to focus on something that screams "HERE, GO HERE".

And, slowly, she starts to walk.

She also forgets to open her eyes, so that's going to go well. ]

( it's fine. he's got unnaturally high senses, if she starts to falter or trip, gets too close to a wall--whatever, yuu will be able to catch her before she hurts herself. he did the same thing anyway, so he can't judge her for leaving her eyes closed like that. )
