t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. Hm, well. [WELL, ABOUT THAT] It's silly, but no one here actually knows for sure. We mostly blame the person who writes the monthly quests. You can see their user name on the computer you're holding.

Is that what this is called? [ Holding up the supposed ~laptop~, looking frustrated. ] And why would they kidnap us just to make us do quests..? That isn't silly.. it's kind of stupid, actually?

It is! It definitely is! [why is okuni so happy... she's just happy that someone exists who'll call it what it is... STUPID!!!] I forgot to mention, but after each quest the town gets a color back. You know how it's all gray now? Some things have gained colors after the quests every month. So basically, that's probably the only reason why we're here!

Gah, no it doesn't! It's not like it's our fault the town is colorless, is it? And restoring color to everything here is going to take such a long time, there's no way the humans here could even live long enough to do all that.
