Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [Being wet is bad enough, but a dog? Oh, hell no. Mogget shoots to his feet with a yowl, back arching as he stares down his rapidly approaching enemy. He could stand his ground? Or he could, you know, turn tail and scurry on top of the nearby community board.]

You! [That's you, Bruce!! Mogget directs a Look his way, ears flattening back against his skull.] Have you no manners? Call your beast back at once!

[batsuits]

[ But what if it's a good dog...!

Bruce stills a little at the cat's response to Ace, one eyebrow raising in what, for Bruce, is quite a surprised expression. He watches as the cat jumps up to the community board and is about to call back Ace before he's...

Being yelled at by the cat.

Ah. ]

Hh.

[ Both eyebrows are now raised! Then his expression is flat again. ]

Talking cat. Are you biologically a cat or a magical entity?

[ And then a short whistle from Bruce and Ace pulls back and heads back to Bruce, sitting at his side eagerly. ]

[purrsuasively]

[All dogs are bad!! And you know, it's awfully hard to look dignified when you're a damp cat sitting atop a community board, but Mogget is doing his absolute best. He waits for the dog to sit beside its master, unable to resist giving it one last glare before turning his full attention to this oh-so rude human.]

I am what I am, and it is no business of yours. [HMPH!] I suppose you ask everyone you meet to reveal intimate details about themselves? After you allow your dog to charge at them, of course.

[This wouldn't be a big deal if a dog wasn't involved, but Mogget... is extra salty.]
