Little Willie, mean as hell, Pushed his sister in a well. Mother said, while drawing water, "My, it's hard to raise a daughter."

t's pretty dark and miserable down in the well. The cavernous area feels much larger than a well should be, bodies milling about in the darkness and knee deep, frigid water. So you're here -- and you're not alone, and the only way out appears to be the thin circle of sunlight from above, the opening of the well. (And elsewhere, in the Town, everyone's waking up to gifts of various usefulness, but hopefully they remember to check the well today even so!) What now? Welcome to Awash's tenth event log, and the intro log for this month, everyone! All new characters have found themselves waking in the well in the middle of the Town. [ ... But what if she gets called weird-looking?? Or laughed at?

Still, she's well-aware that there's no point in hiding when she's already been spotted, so Kisa slowly steps out. ]

There you are.

[Much better! This girl is really quiet, which Sadie would notice if she wasn't so used to just listening to herself talk.] Now, what was so scary that you were hiding from it?

[ At least it means this isn't going to be an entirely awkward encounter full of two quiet people.

Kisa, though, glances down at the ground-- and then kind of meekly gestures to the whole area.

She doesn't know anything about this town, but she doesn't really like it. ]

[goldenwords]

[Hmmm.]

Fair enough, I suppose, especially if you've just come out of the well and all that. But it gets less scary the more familiar you are with it, so why don't we go explore a bit?

[stripedown]

[ She'd said "we". So...

She'll nod. Because if nothing else, she won't get lost alone. ]

Right then.

[She holds out her hand to Kisa, all the better to be sure she doesn't run off and start hiding somewhere.]

Where would you like to go first?

[stripedown]

[ she'll reach for Sadie's hand-- but gesture at her.

Sadie can choose, she'll follow. ]

[goldenwords]

[Off they go! Sadie takes Kisa's hand without any problem and leads her along. She doesn't really know exactly where they're headed, but their wanderings eventually take them toward the waterfront.]

...oh! You're in for a treat. You ever been to the beach before?
